Wagner vs Howard Prediction

The Northeast Conference and Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference were two of the worst rated leagues according to KenPom this season.

Wagner knocked out the top three seeds in the NEC tournament as a 6th seed as the Seahawks are in the Big Dance for the first time since 2003.

Howard captured the MEAC crown as the 4th seed, as both teams owned losing records in the regular season before making their big conference tournament runs.

The Seahawks covered as an underdog in five of their last six opportunities, which included four outright wins and one of the losses coming by one point in overtime to NEC regular season champion Central Connecticut State.

The Bison did eliminate the top-seed Norfolk State in the semifinals, but also faced a 5th and 6th seed on their way to 2nd consecutive NCAA tournament appearance.
