Wagner vs UNC Prediction

Wagner held off a furious rally by Howard in Tuesday's First Four as the Seahawks advanced to the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

However, it will be a tough task for the NEC champions who travel to Charlotte on Friday for a virtual road game against top-seeded North Carolina.

The Tar Heels failed to win the ACC tournament but finished atop the league at 17-3. UNC posted a 7-7 ATS mark as a double-digit favorite, including a 2-2 ATS record when laying at least 20 points.

Wagner has covered four straight games (all as an underdog) but were blown out in their two opportunities as a 'dog of 20 points or more against Seton Hall and Providence.

UNC posted the best defensive numbers in ACC play, while putting together the top defensive 2-point and 3-point percentage numbers against conference foes.
