Aaron Judge (NYY) Over 0.5 Hits/Braves ML (-107)

Aaron Judge is easily the mid-season MVP and I expect his dominant performance to continue today. Judge currently leads the AL in  Runs, Home Runs, Total Bases, SLG, and OPS, holding an impressive .318 batting average. Judge is batting an insane .359 against right handed pitching this season, and has been great at home hitting .338. He’s recorded a hit in 8/L10 games and has a limited history against Kluber (2-6 w/ a double), Judge should continue to smash the ball today.

The Atlanta Braves are one of the hottest teams in baseball right now currently on a 12 game win streak. While that’s important, this play is much more about fading the Nationals in a terrible spot. The Nationals pitched there first bullpen game or the season on Sunday which resulted in a loss, yesterday, Josiah Gray was scratched after a 93 minute rain delay, meaning the bullpen had to once again survive 9 innings. If that misfortune wasn’t enough, franchise pitcher Stephen Strasburg is once again back on the IL, meaning rookie Jackson Tetreault will be thrown to the wolves. Overall just a terrible spot for the Nationals, and it doesn’t hurt the the reigning champions are firing on all cylinders.

J.D. Martinez (BOS) Over 0.5 Hits/Braves ML (-116)

JD Martinez has been someone that’s constantly covering his hit prop this year. Martinez is second in the MLB in batting average, currently sitting at .347. Even more impressively, Martinez is hitting .410 against left handed pitching this season. Martinez is coming in with 1+ hit in 19 of his last 22 games and should continue to feast in a good matchup against the Athletics here. Koenig only has one start, making it 4 innings in a 10-2 loss to the Braves, JD should be able to take advantage of his inexperience.
