Carlos Correa (MIN) Over 0.5 Hits/J.P. Crawford (SEA) Over 0.5 Hits (-104)

Correa has been someone Ive constantly targeted this season, and will continue to throughout the season. Correa is currently hitting .293/.306 Home/.341 June and is consistently getting on base for his team. Today he matches up against Civale, who is making his first start coming back from the IL. I always love targeting pitchers coming back from injury that still need to shake off a bit of rust. Civale is currently 2-3 with a 7.84 ERA and .373 road OBA/.366 OBA vs RHP. His pitch distribution is Cutter 33%/Curve 24%/Sinker 15%/Fastball 11%.

Correa is hitting .400/.211/.375/.339 vs those pitches this season. J.P Crawford is always someone I like targeting against right handed pitching. He currently owns a .283 batting average, but that improves to .327 vs RHP. He’s facing off against James Kaprielian who has struggled this season, his top 3 pitches are 4 seamer, slider, curveball, which JP hits .330/.210/.330/ against. He’s 3-10 in his career against James, and I think he improves on that today.

Ryan Mountcastle (BAL) Over 1.5 Total Bases (+125)

Today the Orioles meet the Nationals for the first time this season. On the mound for the Nationals is Erick Fedde, who currently holds a 4-5 record with a 4.88 ERA and a 2.75 OBA. Fedde is someone who I’ve enjoyed fading all season, He’s given up 7+ hits in 3/L4 starts and 3+ earned runs in 4 straight starts. Fedde has had some walk problems this season, but for the most part he’s gonna go out and attack the strike zone.

Erick Fedde currently has a pitch distribution of 34% Sinker, 31.6% Curve, 29% Cutter this season, something that lines up well for this prop. Mountcastle is hitting 308/.448/.154 vs those 3 pitches, but I’ve noticed the cutter comes out a lot more to jam left handed hitters, something Mountcastle shouldn't have to deal with much. He’s very hot right now, he’s hitting .315 over his last 15 games and .385 over his last 7. He has 2+ TB’s in 5 of his last 7 games and I think he continues that momentum today.
