Carlos Correa (MIN) Over 1.5 Total Bases (+109)

Another day, more Carlos Correa propaganda. Carlos is one of my favorite guys to target, and I really do think we benefit from the lack of buzz around the small market all-star. Carlos Correa currently leads the MLB shortstops in average Exit Velocity at 91.9 MPH, He also has the highest MAX Exit velocity of all MLB shortstops at 114.6 MPH, and 49.7% of his balls are “Hard Hit”, also leading all MLB shortstops. He’s coming into this game batting .298 on the season/.302 vs RHP/.343 in the month of June. Correa has back-to-back homers coming into this game, and should have a pretty solid matchup against Quantrill. Cal throws his Cutter/Sinker over 75% of the time, which happen to be Correas best pitches. In 2021 & 2022 Correa hit .316/.317 vs the Sinker and .500/.333 vs the Cutter. I think the all-star is in for another impressive performance.

Texas Rangers ML (-119)

While I don’t normally venture into these strange spread territories, I like this spot a lot. My player prop research takes me to baseball savant every night, where I check player vs pitcher data for the following slate. Normally scrolling through you find a couple guys that have had some success, and sometimes you find guys that completely struggle, but I don’t think I’ve found a teams 4 best hitters all have this much success vs 1 pitcher. Corey Seager is batting .400 (8-20 w/ 3HR & 2 Doubles), Marcus Semien is hitting .318 (7-22 w/ 1HR), Adolis Garcia is hitting .600 (6-10 w/ 1HR & 2 Doubles), and finally Kole Calhoun is batting .545 (12-22 1HR & 1 Double). While I like all those guys, pairing them for a hit really barley gets you above even money, so I’ll probably be playing them separately. For me, the hardest part was deciding between F5 TT/F5 ML/ML, but the Royals having a bottom 5 bullpen in the MLB pushed me over the edge. I think the Rangers take care of business against a familiar face. Still playable at the -125 DK/-130 FD number.
