Phillies F5 Team Total Over 2.5 Runs (-145)

I wrote about this exact play on 6/17 when Adon was called up for a spot start against the Phillies. He’s been in the minors since, but with Jackson Tetreault on the IL, Adon will once again be needed for a start. On June 17th, Adon actually had one of his more positive starts, but still allowed 4 ER’s in 5 innings pitched. He’s currently 1-11 on the season, with a 6.97 ERA, and 3+ runs allowed in 11 of 13 starts this season. Adon is bottom 1% in Whiff% percentage this year, 5% percentile chase rate, and 4% percentile xERA, you really can't be missing bats against a hot Philipalphia offense. The daily stadium report tells us the conditions are ripe for homers today, and whether Adon gets killed by the longball, or walks, I think it's going to be a tough day for him.

Kyle Schwarber (PHI) Over 1.5 Total Bases/Josh Bell (WAS) Over 1.5 Total Bases (+338)

If we think there's gonna be some offense in this game, then I’m definitely willing to sprinkle on two of the best hitters in this game. I don't think I need to tell you guys about Schwarber, the home run machine has been chasing Aaron Judge for the title of home run king, and has four bombs through 2 games in this series vs Washington. The odds have a Schwarber HR down to just +205, but I like total bases as a bit of a safer play here. Josh Bell also has had good success against Falter going 3-4 with 2 HR’s. Bell has been the Nationals most dependable player this season, and I like this power from the right side today. The total is telling us there is going to be offense today, let's take advantage of that.
