Carlos Rodon (SFO) Over 16.5 Outs (-125)

Carlos Rodon has been doing exactly what the Giants paid him to do thus far. Rodon currently holds an 8-5 record, with a 2.66 ERA, and 131 strikeouts (7th in the MLB) and should be recharged after the all-star break. Rodon is one of those guys that definitely lets that pitch count get up there, as most good strikeout pitchers do, so I really do believe that a fresh Rodon is even scarier. He’s faced the Dodgers twice this season, with great success.

In his first outing he went 6 IP only allowing 2 runs on 3 hits, in his second outing he went 6 innings and allowed 0 runs on only 2 hits. Not only is he 2-0 to this number this season, but the Dodgers hold a batting average of .113 vs Rodon in their career. Deciding between strikeouts and innings was tough, I think they both do end up cashing, with the extra rest I think Rodon gets deep into this game.

He’s coming into this game with 6+ Innings in 5 of his last 7 games, and is someone that is constantly allowed to throw 90-100+ pitches. Another spot I like with Rodon is o1.5 walks here. It's -150 on 365 (-180 on DK) and is a good parlay piece vs LAD.
