Ketel Marte (ARI) Over 0.5 Hits/Andrew Benintendi (KCR) Over 0.5 Hits (-125)

Andrew Benintendi has been good to us this season, and I’m trusting the reliable lefty to take care of business today. With a .335 batting average against right handed pitching, he’s always viable in these spots. Benintendi matches up with Drew Rasmussen and while they’ve never faced off, It's a solid matchup. Rasmussen throws Fastball, Cutter, Slider vs LHH and Benintendi is hitting .357/.200/.300 vs those 3 pitches. While Benintendi has struggled a bit more against the cutter this season, he hit above .300 vs that pitch in each of his last two seasons, which is a good sign. Benintendi has been playing well in July, batting .383 before the All-Star break and should look to continue that today. With his name being floated around in trade talks across the league, I’m sure Benintendi is motivated to play himself onto a contending team in the coming weeks.

Another thing we do quite often in this article, fade Patrick Corbin. Ketel Marte has only faced Corbin in one game earlier this season, where Ketel went 2-3 with 1 HR. While he boasts a .271 average on the season, this jumps up to .317 vs left handed pitching this season. Marte was making valuable strides in July, batting .300 while decreasing his ground ball % and increasing his slugging, leading to 4 of his 8 HR’s coming in July. Marte is another one of those guys that has been floated around in trade talks, while that doesn't necessarily mean anything, adding those narratives in addition to the matchups is always something to keep in mind. Marte has been very consistent this season, I think he takes care of business against Corbin today.
