Alec Bohm (PHI) Over 0.5 Hits (-155)

Alec Bohm might be my favorite play of today's slate, and we’re getting him at an insanely reasonable -155 price. He’s getting a matchup against Charlie Morton, who has been very good this season but is also a good stylistic matchup for Bohm. Morton is one of the those pitchers who’s  most featured pitch is the Curveball, which Bohm hits .375 against this year. Bohm is 7-15 against Morton is his career, and it's good to see when a guys underlying statistics (.375/.358 vs T2 pitches) matchup with his actual experience. Additionally, Bohm is coming in with some of his best form of the season. He’s batting .429 in the month of July, and is entering this game with 3 straight multi hit games and 1+ hit in 19 of his last 20 games. Bohm is absolutely on fire, and I expect that to continue in a favorable matchup today. 

Austin Riley (ATL) Over 0.5 Hit / Alec Bohm (PHI) Over 0.5 Hits (+136)

What more can I say about Austin Riley besides wow, that guys a great baseball player. Riley is coming into this game batting .424 in the month of July with 10 HR’s and 9 doubles. He’s currently on an 18 game hit streak (the longest active in the MLB) and how he gets a Philly team which he’s hitting .419 against this season. Riley has limited experience against Gibson but was successful going 2-4 with 1 HR. There are so many tempting guys on this Braves team, with Swanson (5-7) and Olson (8-18 3HR) both having great success against Gibson. Overall I don't really think you can go wrong on this Braves team, but Austin Riley is the hottest hitter in baseball and I’m gonna keep riding that train all day long.
