Nolan Arenado (STL) Over 0.5 Hits / Anthony Santander (BAL) Over 0.5 Hits (+122)

Despite a bit of a slower start to the season, Nolan Arenado is back in All-Star form. He’s hitting .300 vs right handed pitching this season and .338 in the month of July and now gets a good matchup against the Cubs. The matchup against Keegan Thompson is also really interesting, while he’s only 2-7 in their brief matchups, Arenado’s underlying numbers lead me to believe he’s in store for another good day. Against RHB, Keegan's top 3 pitches are 4seam fastball, curveball, cutter, Arenado is batting .316/.258/.438 vs those pitches this season. With all the trade deadline drama going on, I think it's fair to say the Cubs might be put in a pretty tough position tonight, I think the Cardinals take care of business. 

Anthony Santander is another guy that's been playing really well this month. Santander is currently on a 12 game hit streak (1+ in 15/L16), clearly coming up big for the Orioles in high leverage situations (11 RBI’s L10). He’s batting .400 over his last 15 games, and gets a great matchup against Spencer Howard who currently holds a 5.33 ERA/.287 OBA, ranking 20th percentile or worse in almost every major category on baseball savant. Santander has been better against left handed pitching this season (thankfully the Rangers have a lot of lefties in the pen) and also better at home, but he’s playing the best baseball of his career right now and I think he takes care of business against a struggling pitcher.
