Mookie Betts (LAD) Over 0.5 Hits / Aaron Judge (NYY) 0.5 Hits (-120)

While I would normally begin going with o1.5 total bases for both of these guys, I like the odds here a bit more with the security of getting a single. Lets start with Aaron Judge, who has a great history vs Nathan Eovaldi (and this is when he was actually good). Judge is 11-32 (.344 BA) with 3 XBH vs Eovaldi and its definitely interesting to note that a majority of Judges hits have not been for extra bases, which is definitely not the norm.

Judge is by far the MVP frontrunner this season, boasting a .304 BA (12th) with an insane 45 HR’s and 91 RBI’s. Judge clearly didn't mind recharging at the ASB, batting .405 over his last 15 games with 1+ hit in 17 of his last 20 games. Walks are always gonna be the biggest concern with a guy like Judge, but seeing Evoladi is 98th% in BB% is definitely a good sign that he’s gonna attack the soon to be MVP.

Mookie Betts is another guy thats been crushing it in the second half of the season. While he’s batting .275 on the season, that improves to .350 in the month of august and .429 over this last week. He has 1+ hit in 13 of his last 15 games, and is currently on a 6 game hitstreak, which he should extend in a good matchup today.

Betts has consistently crushed left-handed pitching this season, batting .327 and slugging .626 in over 100 AB’s. Lynch has been very good versus left handed hitters, allowing a .222 batting average, but hes struggled against right handed hitters allowing a .284 BA, along with a .297 BA over his last 30 days. Since I like both of these guys to get extra base hits, I parlayed o1.5 TB’s for +218 on Fanduel.
