GAME DAY UPDATE: As of 5:30 p.m. ET, an hour or before kickoff, the Seahawks are 2.5-point favorites in BetMGM's NFL Conference Championship Game odds. And BetMGM has -105 juice on both sides of the spread.

Last Sunday night, Seattle opened -2.5 flat, and the number briefly got to -3 (-102) Monday and -3 (-105) Wednesday. BetMGM spent the rest of the week at various iterations of -2.5.

"We are laying both sides right now. So there really is not much of a massive need either way on the game itself," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said. "That can all change once this Patriots-Broncos game is finished, though."

Indeed, in whatever window exists between the end of the AFC title and kickoff of the NFC final, a boatload of action will arrive. Still, Davis anticipates the need not changing.

"We will be cheering the Rams, due to our Super Bowl position. The Rams are a much better result for us than the Seahawks," Davis said.

The total is at 45.5, after opening at 47.5, quickly going to 48, then slowly making its way down throughout the week. The last move was at 12:15 p.m. ET today, from 46 to 45.5. With player props/same-game parlays, though, Davis said BetMGM wants the Under, per usual.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: Seattle is -2.5 (-115) in theScore Bet's NFC Championship Game odds, as of 12:30 p.m. ET Friday. In fact, the Seahawks have been at some iteration of -2.5 almost all week, after opening -2.5 (-120) and making a couple trips to -3 (even).

Accounting for all bet types (straight/parlay etc.), Seattle is landing 64% of early spread bets. But early spread money is almost dead even, with a slight lean to the Seahawks. Moneyline play is two way, as well, but with a lean toward Los Angeles, at 52% of bets/53% of money.

"As we've gotten later in the week, we're seeing a bit more love for the Rams and Broncos," theScore Bet senior director Adrian Horton said. "But at this point, an ideal outcome for us is still both underdogs covering on Sunday."

TheScore Bet also is good to any of the remaining four teams in conference championship and Super Bowl futures.

"Some results are better than others. But as things stand now, we'd be fairly happy with any of the remaining teams lifting the Lombardi," Horton said.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: The Seahawks are painted to -2.5 in Borgata Sports' NFL Conference Championship odds, with no movement as of 12:30 p.m. ET Wednesday.

"Right now, we have more money on Seattle, on both the spread and the moneyline," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "We have a big swing in our futures outcome between the two teams. Seattle is our best result for not only the NFC, but also the Super Bowl.

"We lose to the Rams in the NFC."

Borgata's total has toggled between the 47.5 opener and 48, and it's currently 47.5 NFC Championship Game odds.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 1 seed Seattle (15-3 SU/13-5 ATS) beat San Francisco like a rented mule on Saturday night. Rashid Shaheed returned the opening kick 95 yards for a touchdown, and the Seahawks never stopped en route to a 41-6 victory.

Seattle, a 7-point home favorite, covered for the third straight game while running its SU win streak to eight games.

No. 5 seed Los Angeles (14-5 SU/11-8 ATS) had a far tougher chore getting out of the Divisional Round. The Rams gave up a Caleb Williams desperation-heave touchdown with 18 seconds remaining, as Chicago tied Sunday's game at 17 to force overtime.

L.A., a 3.5-point road favorite, then won 20-17 in overtime on a 42-yard Harrison Mevis field goal. The Rams picked off Williams ahead of that game-winning drive.

The SuperBook followed by opening Seattle as 2.5-point home chalk in NFC Championship Game odds. In the first hour, the Seahawks adjusted to -2.5 (-120), so -3 could be on the horizon. The total is stable at 47.5.

"I think the NFC Championship will see two-way action. But I expect to see more on the Seahawks, just because of how good they looked Saturday," SuperBook risk manager Casey Degnon said. "We'll need the Seahawks, because of our futures positions."

With both these teams in the NFC West, they've already met twice this season. Seattle and L.A. split those two meetings SU and ATS, and interestingly, the road team covered but lost both matchups.

The Rams won 21-19 as 3-point Week 11 home favorites, and the Seahawks won a 38-37 screamer as 1.5-point Week 16 home faves.

GAME DAY UPDATE: As of 1:30 p.m. ET, 90 minutes before kickoff, New England is 3.5-point chalk in BetMGM's NFL Conference Championship odds. BetMGM is also dealing -105 juice on both sides of the spread.

A week ago, the Patriots opened -4, then quickly advanced to -4.5/-5.5. The line was -5.5/-5 much of the week, then went to -4.5 Thursday, toggled between -4.5/-4 Friday and much of Saturday, and got to -3.5 Saturday night.

Still, the public is on New England today.

"It's been a bit of a no-brainer all week, since the QB situation came up for Denver. We will need the Broncos, any way, shape or form. A cover would be good, but an outright win will be great," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said.

The total is at 43, nudging off the 43.5 high point in just the past few minutes, but still well up from the 40.5 opener. Per usual, BetMGM will need the Under, largely due to same-game parlays.

WEEKEND UPDATE: Over the course of the day Friday, DraftKings Sportsbook dropped from Patriots -4.5 to -4, then -3.5. As of 3 p.m. ET Saturday, 24 hours before kickoff, New England is -3.5 (-115) in DK's NFL Conference Championship Game odds.

However, spread play continues to solidly favor the Patriots, at 70% of bets/69% of money. And moneyline action leans toward New England, as well, at 67% of bets/61% of money.

DraftKings' total is at 42.5 (Over -118), actually down a point from the brief high of 43.5 earlier Saturday. The total opened at 41.5. Ticket count is almost even, with a slight Under lean, while 76% of money is on the Over.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: As of 12:30 p.m. ET Friday, the Patriots are 4.5-point road favorites in theScore Bet's AFC Championship Game odds. New England opened -5.5 (-105) on Sunday night and has been steady at -4.5 since Tuesday.

Accounting for all bet types (straight/parlay etc.), spread action is solidly on the Pats, at 73% of early bets/74% of early money. On the moneyline, the Broncos are seeing 59% of bets, but 69% of cash is on the Patriots.

"The Patriots laying points has been our most popular market across the two games. But there are some Broncos believers out there," theScore Bet senior director Adrian Horton said. "When looking at straight bets only, the Broncos are the most popular moneyline pick of the weekend."

The total is up to 42.5 from a 40.5 opener. However, 60% of tickets and dollars are on the Under at theScore Bet.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: As of 12:30 p.m. ET Wednesday, New England is 5-point road chalk in Borgata Sports' NFL Conference Championship Game odds. That's down a tick from the opener.

"The Patriots opened as 5.5-point favorites, which has sparked a lot of conversation about what Bo Nix is worth to the point spread," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said, noting Jarrett Stidham will start for the Broncos.

"Personally, I have the difference between Nix and Stidham close to 4 points. If it was Nix starting, I would still have New England favored here by 1.5."

Regardless, the bigger number isn't scaring off Pats backers.

"Bettors are willing to lay the points with New England. But we have seen more money come in on Denver moneyline," Gable said. "From a futures standpoint, we are in good shape with both of these teams."

The total is up to 42 from a 40.5 opener in AFC Championship Game odds.

"Thus far, all of the money has been on the Over," Gable said.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Denver (15-3 SU/8-10 ATS) was plus-4 in turnover margin, yet ended up in a tight battle vs. Buffalo on Saturday night. The Broncos blew a 23-10 third-quarter lead and got dragged into overtime tied at 30, then escaped with a 33-30 win.

No. 1 seed Denver won on a 23-yard Will Lutz field goal, which followed a couple of big pass-interference calls against No. 6 Buffalo. The Broncos covered as 1.5-point home favorites.

But Denver got alarming news after the game: Quarterback Bo Nix fractured a bone in his ankle on one of the final plays. He finished the game, but his season is over.

No. 2 seed New England (16-3 SU/14-5 ATS) survived a turnover-riddled Divisional Round game, mainly because Houston had more turnovers. The Patriots closed as 3.5-point favorites and won 28-16, despite an interception and two lost fumbles from QB Drake Maye.

New England benefited greatly from a horrible C.J. Stroud effort, as the Texans QB threw four interceptions among Houston's five turnovers.

Jarrett Stidham will start at QB for the Broncos, creating a huge drop-off in AFC Championship Game odds. On Saturday night, The SuperBook indicated Nix's injury would create a 6-point swing, from Broncos -3 to either Texans or Patriots -3.

Sunday night, with the matchup set, the risk room took it even further. New England opened -4.5 in odds for the AFC title game. And even that wasn't enough, as the line leapt to Pats -5/-5.5 within an hour.

"It's all Patriots so far. There aren't a ton of bets, but we can tell it will continue to trend that way," SuperBook risk manager Casey Degnon said. "You've also got to think the public will be all over the Pats here, against a backup QB.

"Straight bets will favor the Patriots, and especially moneyline parlays and teasers, with the number around 6."
