Houston Texans/New England Patriots vs. Denver Broncos Odds

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Denver (15-3 SU/8-10 ATS) was plus-4 in turnover margin, yet ended up in a tight battle vs. Buffalo on Saturday night. The Broncos blew a 23-10 third-quarter lead and got dragged into overtime tied at 30, then escaped with a 33-30 win.

No. 1 seed Denver won on a 23-yard Will Lutz field goal, which followed a couple of big pass-interference calls against No. 6 Buffalo. The Broncos covered as 1.5-point home favorites.

But Denver got alarming news after the game: Quarterback Bo Nix fractured a bone in his ankle on one of the final plays. He finished the game, but his season is over. So the Broncos will be home underdogs in AFC Championship Game odds.

Up next for Denver: Either No. 5 seed Houston (13-5 SU/12-6 ATS) or No. 2 seed New England (15-3 SU/13-5 ATS). Those two square off Sunday, with host New England favored in NFL Divisional Round odds.

Jarrett Stidham will start at QB for the Broncos next week, creating a huge drop-off in odds for the AFC title game.

Los Angeles Rams/Chicago Bears vs. Seattle Seahawks Odds

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 1 seed Seattle (15-3 SU/13-5 ATS) beat San Francisco like a rented mule on Saturday night. Rashid Shaheed returned the opening kick 95 yards for a touchdown, and the Seahawks never stopped en route to a 41-6 victory.

Seattle, a 7-point home favorite, covered for the third straight game while running its SU win streak to eight games.

Opposite the Seahawks in NFC Championship Game odds: Either No. 5 seed Los Angeles (13-5 SU/11-7 ATS) or No. 2 seed Chicago (12-6 SU/11-6-1 ATS). The Rams meet the Bears on Sunday night, with L.A. a favorite in frigid Chicago.
