Week 16 of the NFL season continues with Game 2 of a Saturday double header between the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Chargers. The betting odds see Buffalo as a 12-point favorite coming off an impressive blowout win over Dallas last week. Coverage begins from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Saturday, December 23 at 8:00 p.m. ET on Peacock.

Buffalo Bills vs Los Angeles Chargers Odds

• Opening point spread: Bills -14
• Opening moneyline: Bills -850/Chargers +550
• Opening total: Over/Under 42 points scored
• Time: 8 p.m. ET Saturday (Peacock)

UPDATE 6:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Ninety minutes pre-kick, Buffalo is laying 12.5 points at BetMGM Nevada. The Bills opened -13.5, got as low as -10.5 Tuesday and rebounded to -13 by Thursday.

"Tickets and money all Bills," BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said of action in the sportsbook operator's Las Vegas market. "It's 3/1 tickets and 5/1 money."

That includes a significant six-figure play on Buffalo -12.5.

"They are playing the Chargers ticket-wise on the moneyline, at 3/1. But Money is 2/1 Bills," Shelton said.

The total climbed from 42.5 to 44 by Tuesday, and went to 44.5/45 this evening. It's 3/1 tickets and 4/1 money on the Over.

UPDATE 12:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: BetMGM pegged Buffalo 13.5-point chalk to open and tumbled to -10.5 (-120) by Tuesday, with a few stops along the way. But the Bills rebounded to -13 Thursday and are now -12.5.

Spread tickets and money are in the 2.5/1 range on Buffalo.

The total climbed from 42.5 to 43.5/44 Tuesday and hasn't moved since. Ticket count is 3/1 and money 6/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Buffalo (8-6 SU/6-7-1 ATS) seems to be putting things together at the right time. Yes, the Bills lost at Philadelphia, but took the Eagles to OT. They followed up with a win at Kansas City and a Week 15 home rout of Dallas.

Buffalo led the Cowboys 21-3 at halftime and didn't allow a TD until the waning minutes. The Bills won 31-10 to easily cash as 2.5-point home faves.

Los Angeles got waxed like a dollar-store candle by a mediocre Las Vegas squad in Week 15. L.A. (5-9 SU and ATS) was a 3-point road favorite and lost 63-21 Thursday night. The Chargers subsequently fired coach Brandon Staley.

Bills-Chargers is stable at Buffalo -14 tonight at The SuperBook. The total moved up a notch to 42.5.
