Miami Dolphins vs. New England Patriots Betting Analysis

One of the more anticipated matchups to take place in Week 1 is a battle of former University of Alabama quarterbacks who brought a title to Tuscaloosa.

Tua Tagovailoa enters his second season with the Dolphins after going 7-3 in 10 starts in 2020, although Miami fell short of the playoffs in spite of a 10-6 record.

The Patriots selected Mac Jones in the first round of this past NFL draft with the idea of him eventually replacing former MVP Cam Newton. Jones takes over in Week 1 after Newton was released in the preseason as New England is coming off a 7-9 campaign.

New England and Miami split a pair of matchups last season with the home team winning each time, including the Pats defeated the Dolphins at Gillette Stadium, 22-11 in the 2020 opener.
