Prop betting expert Stuart Durst is back on the gridiron to give out his top play in Monday night's primetime matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns. Check out his prediction below, along with other VI Expert Picks!
Bengals vs. Browns Player Prop Pick
- Harrison Bryant (CLE) Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+320)
This weeks Monday Night Football is a divisional rivalry matchup with the Browns taking on the Bengals. While neither of these teams have been top tier this season, the Bengals have actually improved over there last couple games. The Browns are another one of those teams that was supposed to have a really strong defense, but they haven’t quite seen results from that yet. Both teams will look to further establish there playoff positions in this exciting matchup.
With a spread currently set at -3, the Bengals are slight favorites. They have beaten the Falcons and Saints by two scores over the last two weeks, with Burrow throwing for 300+ yards in each matchup. The Browns have lost 4 tough matchups in a row, with there last win coming on primetime against the Steelers earlier this year. Both teams are in need of a win, and it will be interesting to see how the Browns cool down a hot Joe Burrow.
While I wanted to continue the prime time tight end touchdown streak, deciding between Hurst and Bryant was tough. Betting on Hayden Hurst has been good to us this season, but his price is finally adjusted a bit. David Njoku has also been great, but since he’s ruled out that opens up opportunities for Bryant, who’s shown he’s a legit tight end when getting the snaps. Njoku is averaging 75 receiving yards over his last 5 games, meaning he’s leaving a lot of target share on the table.
With no other receiving threats on the roster, Braynt will likely see a vast majority of the receiving targets that Njoku left on the table. He was good when pushed into a higher usage role, and with how dependent this team is on the tight end positions, I expect Bryant to be very involved. While there is no receiving yards posted yet, if it’s at a reasonable number then that should be a good bet alongside the touchdown.
