OPENING ODDS UPDATE: England narrowly avoided a huge upset in the Round of 32 vs. Congo DR. Just seven minutes into Wednesday's match, Congo went up 1-0 on a Brian Cipenga goal, and that lead held up all the way until the 75th minute.

But Harry Kane then knotted it up, and he scored the go-ahead goal in the 86th minute to give England a 2-1 win as a -325 favorite.

Mexico didn't have anywhere near those issues Tuesday against Ecuador. El Tri got goals in the 22nd and 31st minutes, from Julian Quinones and Raul Jimenez, and Mexico made it hold up in a 2-0 victory.

In Mexico vs. England odds, DraftKings Sportsbook opened the three-way moneyline with England a +140 favorite. Mexico opened as a +220 home 'dog, despite being 4-0 and not allowing a single goal so far.

As of 2 p.m. ET Friday, it remains England +140/Mexico +220/Draw +215. Early ticket count is dead even, but 90% of early money is on Mexico.
