England vs. Norway odds have a hugely tough act to follow in the World Cup, after England held off Mexico in a madhouse match at Azteca.

Norway looks impressive, as well, coming off an upset of Brazil. Three Lions opened as a favorite in Norway vs. England odds, but the red-hot Erling Haaland will have something to say about that for Norway.

LATEST UPDATE: As of 3:15 p.m. ET, 75 minutes before kickoff, BetMGM's three-way moneyline is at England -110/Norway +270/Draw +260. That's only slightly off Sunday night's opener of England even money/Norway +240/Draw +260.

And underdog Norway is a popular play, taking two times more tickets than England and 1.5 times more money. Draw is seeing 8% of tickets/5% of money.

In BetMGM’s To Advance market, it’s England -200/Norway +160, with Norway again taking twice as many bets as England. In fact, among the four teams playing today – Argentina vs. Switzerland is later – Norway is taking the most bets to advance to the semifinals.

“Bettors have found an outsider here,” BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said. “There’s good support for Norway and for both teams to score. A 90-minute draw is the best result, and Norway advancing after a draw is fine.”

The total is at 2.5 (Over -135), after opening at 2.5 (Over -110). Tickets and money are in the 9/1 range on the Over.

Also notable: In the anytime goal scorer market, Norway's Erling Haaland is attracting three times more bets than any other player in today’s two quarterfinals. Haaland is the +110 second choice for anytime goal, behind -110 favorite Harry Kane of England.

SECOND UPDATE: DraftKings Sportsbook has the three-way moneyline at England -110/Norway +300/Draw +265, as of 7 p.m. ET Friday, less than 24 hours before kickoff. That's a modest shift from Sunday's opener of England -105/Norway +280/Draw +250.

Ticket count is dead-even two-way on Norway vs. England odds, with both teams landing 42% of bets so far, and Draw at 16%. Money has a modest lean toward Norway, at 51%, with England taking 40% and Draw 9%.

In the To Advance market on England vs. Norway odds, it's England -215/Norway +175, after opening at England -195/Norway +155. That market leans more into Norway, at 61% of tickets and money.

DraftKings' total is at 2.5 (Over -140), after opening at 2.5 (Over -115). It's all Over action so far, at 84% of bets/87% of money.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: England won an absolute barnburner vs. Mexico, arguably the best match of the World Cup so far. Three Lions, playing a man down much of the second half, held on for a 3-2 victory as slim road favorites Sunday at soccer-mad Azteca Stadium.

Jude Bellingham tallied back-to-back goals in the 36th and 38th minutes to put England up 2-0. But Julian Quinones countered just four minutes later to pull Mexico within 2-1. Then in the 54th minute, early in the second half, England's Jarell Quansah drew a red card for an aggressive foul.

That put Harry Kane & Co. a man down the rest of the match. But a foul in the goal box in the 60th minute allowed Kane to put England up 3-1 on a penalty kick.

Mexico was then awarded a PK of its own, and Raul Jimenez converted to make it 3-2 in the 69th minute. England was under immense pressure much of the rest of the match, including 11 minutes of extra time, but held on.

That match overshadowed a huge win for Norway in the other Sunday Round of 16 match. Erling Haaland broke a scoreless tie vs. Brazil in the 79th minute, then scored again in the 90th minute, and Norway went on to a 2-1 victory as +333 underdogs.

Brazil was awarded a penalty kick in the 10th minute of injury time, which Neymar converted to make it 2-1. But the final whistle blew shortly thereafter.

Late Sunday night, FanDuel Sportsbook opened England vs. Norway odds with Three Lions a favorite in the main markets. On the three-way moneyline, it's England -105/Norway +260/Draw +270. In the To Advance market, it's England -190/Norway +156.
