2026 World Cup Odds
USA vs. Belgium Odds
- Opening moneyline: USA +160/Belgium +175/Draw +240
- Opening total: Over/Under 2.5 goals scored
- Time: 8 p.m. ET Monday (FOX)
LATEST UPDATE: As of 6:30 p.m. ET Monday, 90 minutes pre-match, USA is a +145 favorite on BetMGM's three-way moneyline in USA vs. Belgium odds. The Belgians are +180 'dogs, with Draw at +230.
So the USA has strengthened over the last 24 hours, even after the initial moves to reflect Folarin Balogun playing tonight. At 5 p.m. ET Sunday, it was USA +160/Belgium +165/Draw +225.
When this match first opened on Wednesday night, it was Belgium +155/USA +160/Draw +240.
It's pretty simple for BetMGM, where the U.S. is taking seven times more three-way moneyline bets than any of the other three teams competing today.
"There's nothing more to say than go Belgium," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said.
In the To Advance market, it's USA -120/Belgium -102. And the U.S. is drawing four times more To Advance bets than either Belgium, Spain or Portugal.
The total is at 2.5 (Over -135), and action is lopsided on the Over. So BetMGM wants a low-scoring Belgium win, or perhaps better still, a draw in 90 minutes plus injury time, and Belgium ultimately advancing.
THIRD UPDATE: Pretty much no one expected that Folarin Balogun would get a red-card reprieve. On Friday, FIFA affirmed that Balogun would indeed serve a one-game suspension for the card, served during the USA's 2-0 Wednesday win over Bosnia.
In a stunner on Sunday, FIFA opted to suspend the suspension, instead turning it into a one-year probation. In the To Advance market, that prompted BetMGM to move from Belgium -115/USA -110 to USA -125/Belgium even.
That didn't last long, shortening to USA -115/Belgium -110.
Also as of 5 p.m. ET Sunday, the three-way moneyline is at USA +160/Belgium +165/Draw +225. Those numbers modestly differ from the opening three-way moneyline of USA and Belgium both at +160, and Draw +230.
"The market moved very slightly toward the USA, post-Balogun news, but it wasn't much," BetMGM trading manager Adair Horne said. "We still haven't taken much handle, as 98% of it comes on game day. Three-way is more even, but that'll change once we start taking more handle.
In To Advance, it's 60% USA money and 40% Belgium money. But I would expect once all the recreational bettors step in on game day, it'll end up closer to 75-80% USA and 20-25% Belgium."
Player prop markets got a big addition on the Balogun news. BetMGM installed Balogun as the +450 favorite to score the first goal, supplanting Belgium's Romelu Lukaku, now the +475 second choice. Balogun is also the +150 favorite in anytime goal, with Lukaku +155.
SECOND UPDATE: As of 10 p.m. ET Friday, three nights before this massive match, DraftKings has USA vs. Belgium odds at pick 'em on the three-way moneyline. It's USA +165/Belgium +165/Draw +240.
That's a shift toward Belgium from Wednesday night's opener and the subsequent first moves. DK opened at USA +160/Belgium +175/Draw +240 and quickly went to USA +155/Belgium +180/Draw +245.
The U.S. is taking 77% of eary money on the three-way line. Belgium is seeing 16% of cash, with the final 7% going to Draw.
On the To Advance odds, it's Belgium a slim -115 favorite and USA a -110 underdog. Still, 82% of money is on the U.S. and 18% on Belgium.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: The USA pulled off a thrilling 2-0 victory over Bosnia as -270 favorites Wednesday night in the Round of 32. Not only did the Americans maintain a 1-0 lead after star Florian Balogun drew a 64th-minute red card, but they actually expanded the advantage.
Ultimately down a man for 36 minutes, the U.S. got a brilliant free-kick goal from Malik Tillman in the 82nd minute to help secure the win. It was also a massive victory for bettors, who were all over America.
"It was one of the highest-bet games of the tournament so far. And bettors obviously filled up with the 2-0 U.S. win," BetMGM trading manager Adair Horne said.
It was Team USA's first Knockout Stage win since 2002, although only 16 teams reached that stage, as the field was only 32 teams.
Meanwhile, earlier Wednesday, Belgium made an incredible comeback against a sharp Senegal squad that built a 2-0 lead. Romelu Lukaku and Youri Tielemans scored in the 86th and 89th minutes, respectively, and the Belgians won 3-2 on a Tielemans penalty kick awarded late in overtime.
For the Round of 16, DraftKings Sportsbook opened USA vs. Belgium odds at USA +160/Belgium +175/Draw +240 on the three-way moneyline. By late Wednesday night, the numbers adjusted to USA +155/Belgium +180/Draw +245.
In the two-way To Advance market, it's USA -130/Belgium +105. Check back for updates on USA vs. Belgium World Cup odds.
