World Cup odds for 2026 are front and center, with the tournament well underway. Team USA continues to impress, notching a shutout victory vs. Australia in Match 2.

But that makes USA vs. Turkey odds an interesting proposition for bookmakers. The U.S. is already guaranteed a spot in the Knockout Stage, while Turkey cannot advance.

LATEST UPDATE: As of 8:30 p.m. ET, 90 minutes before the match, it's USA -125/Turkey +290/Draw +340 on The SuperBook's three-way moneyline. That's a notable adjustment from the opener of USA +120/Turkey +210/Draw +300.

"The money is definitely coming in on USA," SuperBook vice president John Murray said. "It's not as much as in the first two matches, but it's still fairly lopsided. Draw would be a good outcome for us.

"We can't root for Team USA to lose!"

The total is at 3 (Under -125), and surprisingly, SuperBook risk manager Fred Crespi said the Over is the need.

"Sharp money came in on Under 3 (-105)," Crespi said.

THIRD UPDATE: It's a meaningless match for both teams. But on game day, that's not deterring bettors. At BetMGM, as of 2 p.m. ET, USA vs. Turkey odds are taking eight times more bets than any of the other five Thursday matches.

Further, there are eight times more USA moneyline bets than on any other team playing today. The three-way moneyline opened at USA +140/Turkey +155/Draw +210, and it's now at USA -110/Turkey +260/Draw +275.

The U.S. is landing 88% of bets/95% of money. Turkey is at 4% of bets/3% of cash, while Draw has 8% of bets/2% of cash.

"Same old same old. We need the USA to not win. A draw will be very good," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said.

BetMGM's total opened at 2.5 (Over -125) and is now at 2.5 (Over -145), with 74% of bets/72% of money on the Over.

SECOND UPDATE: As of 6 p.m. ET Monday, with this matchup marinating the past three days, USA is an even-money favorite in DraftKings Sportsbook's World Cup odds. Although this contest is meaningless for both teams, the U.S. shortened from its +150 opener.

Meanwhile, a disappointing Turkey outfit – with two losses, 2-0 vs. Australia and 1-0 vs. Paraguay – cannot advance to the Knockout Stage. So Turkey is a +250 underdog, while Draw is +300.

As has been the case so far in both match odds and World Cup futures odds, Team USA is again seeing heavy action. Tickets and dollars on USA vs. Turkey odds are beyond 9/1 on the U.S., with Turkey and Draw picking up the scraps.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: The U.S. moved to a 2-0 with a shutout victory vs. Australia on Friday in Seattle. Team USA won 2-0 as a -155 favorite, with both goals coming in the first half.

The first goal deflected off an Aussie defender in the 11th minute. Then in the 43rd minute, Alex Freeman headed in a deflection right in front of the goal line.

Turkey plays its second Group D match vs. Paraguay late Friday night. The Turks need a win after a 2-0 upset loss in their opener vs. Australia.

With 6 points, the American side has already locked up a Knockout Stage spot. That makes Thursday's Group D finale vs. Turkey not nearly as meaningful.

As such, DraftKings Sportsbook briefly flipped the U.S. from short favorite to short underdog. When Turkey vs. USA odds first posted on May 28, it was USA +150/Turkey +180/Draw +285. Prior to the USA-Australia match, it was USA +145/Turkey +175.

Immediately after the U.S. win over the Aussies, DK moved to Turkey +145/USA +165. Now, as of 7:30 p.m. ET Friday, USA vs. Turkey odds on the three-way moneyline are at USA +150/Turkey +160/Draw +285.
