Jake Paul Fights Julio Cesar Chavez Jr – Who Wins and How?
“I think Jake Paul wins and will stop Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. He was world champion, but I feel like he hasn’t been living the lifestyle of a boxer whereas Jake Paul has, and he has been the busier fighter in the last couple of years compared to Chavez Jr.
Chavez Jr is a retired fighter who has put on a lot of weight, and you can see boxing was the last thing that he wanted to do. Now, he has the opportunity and is putting the gloves back on because he thinks he can beat Jake Paul and get his mojo back but there comes a day where your speed and timing goes (as a fighter). Let’s hope he isn’t taking this fight lightly because he has his hands full against Jake Paul. Jake can bang hard; he can hurt you and knock you out.”
Who Should Jake Paul Fight Next If He Wins?
“It’s a tough one. Nobody ever expected a YouTuber to fight, and he is now knocking MMA fighters out, former boxers and he is doing something none of us ever thought he could do. You have to give full respect to him and at the end of the day, he is making money and why not? We are all prize fighters, and Jake Paul deserves it. Respect where it is due.”
How Was Ghana, And What Was It Like For Anthony Joshua To Come Out And Support The Card?
“It was a shame that we couldn’t get the stream working in DAZN due to a line issue, but it was a great show. There are good fighters from Africa, and nobody has ever given them a chance, similar to Asia so I’m going to be focusing on these areas as well as shows in the UK. I’m just getting my feet wet and seeing what it is going to like and having fun.
Anthony messaged me and asked if he could come out and show his support. There are also business opportunities out here for him, so I said to AJ, come over and I’ll introduce you to a group of people, including the president and I’m sure he got a few deals done out there.
We’re looking at doing a boxing show in Nigeria next so it would be nice to do something with AJ as he is from there and has family from there. It would be nice to do something otherwise we will just do it ourselves.”
Did Anthony Joshua Speak About His Next Opponent?
“He seems to be in semi-retirement. He’s looking at all business opportunities and stuff like that, but he has done all of the hard work, AJ has done great things in the sport and has done it all. He is an Olympic gold-medallist, a former two-time world champion and I think he’s one or two fights away from retiring or maybe one more fight and he’ll call it a day but that’s just my opinion. We all want to see the Tyson Fury fight, let’s hope they can make it happen.”
What Is Next For Tyson Fury – Surely AJ?
“I hope Tyson comes back, he’s a friend of mine and Turki Alalshikh always gets a big fight for him as well. The loser of Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois would be a good fight next for Tyson as a tune-up fight. I have Daniel Dubois losing to Oleksandr Usyk and that would be a great comeback fight for Tyson as it is a fight still at the top (level) and then fight Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua which is the fight I want to see. There are a few good options still there for Fury because he is such a big name and has that backing. I think Fury takes the loser of Usyk vs Dubois and then fights Joshua or the king of the heavyweight division.
With Fury and AJ, they have both had time out of the ring and I believe both fighters have a 50/50 chance of winning the fight. At first, I was favouring Tyson Fury but not anymore, I think it is a 50/50 fight. It is a fight where you can’t say who is going to win because is it the power or the boxing IQ that wins the fight? It’s hard to say.”
Conor McGregor Is In The News Again, This Time For Punching Somebody In A Club. What Are Your Thoughts?
“Conor misses MMA, the sport and being in the limelight so I feel a bit sorry for him as well because he is still a massive name and I am sure Conor is going to get people coming over to him and doing his head in. He might not have the patience that I have or the other fighters and is maybe on the edge where he doesn’t want people surrounding him or people approaching him, so he let his hands go. I don’t blame him.
There are times where it becomes too much, and I can (that is the case) for him. Sometimes it gets too much, and you end up letting your hands go and that way you feel safe because you can literally stop anyone from putting you in a scaring position. He probably goes to places on his own or with security, but he could always be in danger so it’s probably why he always has his guard up with whoever he feels is going to do something to him or feels uneasy, it’s just normal for him to throw his hands. He’s not just going to walk up to a normal guy and bang him; a guy will have to persuade him to come over and mess about with him for Conor to do that.
At the end of the day, we are trained fighters and should never do that, but we only throw our hands when we need to throw our hands and that was a time where someone must have put pressure on Conor for him to throw his hands.”
Should Conor Avoid Going To Clubs And Bars?
“No, you want to go out, enjoy yourself and not risk your youth as you never get it back again, so you want to go to these places and have fun and go to parties. We’ve all been there and done it. I don’t do it now obviously because I am much older and wiser with kids whereas with Conor, he is still young so let him enjoy himself and have fun.”
