College World Series odds continue to emerge as a popular market in American sports betting. The 2025 college baseball season is at the final stage of the NCAA Tournament, with the CWS reaching its championship series.

It's LSU vs. Coastal Carolina in a best-of-3 matchup. The Tigers are up 1-0 and remain the favorite in 2025 CWS odds.

UPDATE 11 A.M. ET SUNDAY, JUNE 22: LSU took a defensive battle in Game 1 vs. Coastal Carolina, winning 1-0 as a lone second-inning run held up the whole game. LSU starter Kade Anderson pitched a complete-game shutout, with 10 strikeouts.

Prior to Game 1, College World Series odds were at LSU -190/Coastal Carolina +160 at Caesars Sports. Now, with the Tigers in a position to clinch today, it's LSU -380/Coastal +300.

Earlier in the NCAA Tournament, Biggio alluded to the Tigers' sea of backers.

"We've got a pretty big base of support in Louisiana. They back LSU like a pro team. We do a lot of business in Louisiana."

But don't count out the Chanticleers, who haven't lost since April 22.

"The Chanticleers have won 26 in a row and have a really good pitching staff," Caesars college baseball trader Brandon DeRosier said.

What To Watch For

UPDATE 11 A.M. ET SUNDAY, JUNE 22: LSU was the favorite in 2025 College World Series odds when the NCAA Tournament field was announced last month. So the Tigers are now right where oddsmakers expected them be.

The remaining CWS finals schedule:

• LSU vs. Coastal Carolina, 2:30 p.m. ET Sunday (ABC)
• Coastal Carolina vs. LSU, 7:30 p.m. ET Monday, if necessary (ESPN)

Caesars' risk room is just grateful that one SEC team reached the final. Better still, it's the SEC team that consistently draws the most action in all of college baseball. But Coastal has its share of supporters, too, and Caesars would like to see the Chanticleers bounce back in Game 2.

"It's pretty close, but we need Coastal slightly for the outrights. We're in good shape either way, though," Biggio said.

Added DeRosier: "I think this is one of the best matchups we could have asked for. A brand name like LSU against a story like Coastal Carolina, which just keeps winning, will be great for handle.

"With the way things have played out, I think these are the two best teams. So it should be some great baseball, with some excellent pitching matchups."

There's a little David vs. Goliath going on. Including this season, Coastal has only reached the eight-team CWS twice, actually winning the title in 2016. Meanwhile, LSU has seven national titles, most recently in 2023, and this is the Tigers' 20th CWS appearance.
