Long Beach State vs Arizona Prediction

Arizona has been waiting for a year to get back to the NCAA Tournament to prove its loss to 15th-seeded Princeton in 2023 was a fluke.

The Wildcats blew a 12-point second half lead in a shocking 59-55 loss as Arizona will look to start fresh against Long Beach State.

Beach captured the Big West title with three consecutive wins in spite of head coach Dan Monson getting fired prior to the conference tournament.

Monson is still coaching as Long Beach State beat the top two seeds in the Big West championship for a shot at Arizona.

The Wildcats have proven they can blow any team out and also get tripped up by anybody. Arizona lost six conference games as a favorite of seven or more, including baffling defeats at Stanford and Oregon State.

But when the Wildcats are on, they won eight Pac-12 games by 20 points or more.
