Oklahoma State gets the nod in this matchup as a -4.5 -point road favorite. The betting line on the total for Wednesday night opened at 141.5 points.

The Cowboys are 4-1 straight-up and against the spread in their last five games. They are 4-0 ATS in four previous Big 12 road games. The total has gone OVER or ended as a PUSH in seven of their last nine outings.

Oklahoma State lost the opening game in this season’s series by one point as a five-point home favorite. It is 2-6 SU in its last eight games against TCU and 1-5 SU in its last six road games in this conference matchup.

The Horned Frogs were able to cover in recent road losses against Kansas and Missouri as double-digit underdogs. Yet, their SU losing streak now stands at five games. The total has stayed UNDER in five of their last seven contests. TCU has failed to cover ATS in its last five home games.

The Cowboys took a break from conference play on Saturday with an 81-77 victory against Arkansas as two-point home favorites. Cade Cunningham was the difference in this one with 21 points.

The freshman guard missed his last few starts as the team leader in points with 18.1 a game. He is shooting 46.2% from the field and 38.9% from three-point range. Guard Isaac Likekele has been another important part of his team’s success with 11.2 points and 7.5 rebounds a game.

Oklahoma State is complementing its 76.9-point scoring average with 39.9 rebounds a game. It is shooting 46.8% from the field and 33.1% from outside the three-point line. The defense has held opposing teams to 71.2 PPG. This has dropped to 65.3 points over the last four victories.

  • SU: 9-7
  • ATS: 7-9
  • SU - Home: 6-4

TCU has dropped to 2-5 SU in the Big 12 as a result of its current slide. It did take Missouri to overtime in Saturday’s SEC/Big 12 Challenge before losing by four points.

The duo of guards’ RJ Nembhard and Kevin Samuel dominate the team leader board in every major category. Nembard leads the way in points (16.6) and assists (3.9). Samuel is averaging 9.1 points with a team-high 8.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.9 blocked shots.

Guard Mike Miles is another top scoring threat with 14.6 PPG. Even with all this production at the top of the stat list, the Horned Frogs are averaging just 68.6 PPG while shooting 45.3% for the field and 35.3% from three-point range.

TCU is pulling down an average of 35.1 rebounds while allowing 70.5 PPG on defense.

Oklahoma State-TCU Predictions

Oklahoma State has been able to string together some solid victories over its last five games along with the lone 15-point loss to No. 2 Baylor. The earlier loss to TCU as home favorites should provide a bit of added motivation on Wednesday night to earn the season split.

TCU’s current form lends itself to a sixth-straight loss while failing to cover at home. These two team’s recent trends on the total line tend to cancel each other out. With that in mind, I would still lean towards the OVER given the 153 combined points scored in the first meeting.

  • Score Prediction: Oklahoma State 79 TCU 71
  • Best Bets: Oklahoma State -4.5
  • Best Bets: OVER
