Colorado is the home favorite, given a -5-point spread. The Buffs have covered 11 of 18 games played this season, while Arizona has failed to cover 10 of 17 games.

The point total is set at 143.5, which could go in either direction for both schools. Colorado tends to go UNDER, doing so in 10 of 17 games. Arizona leans OVER, doing so in 10 of 17 games as well.

Betting Analysis – Arizona Wildcats

Straight Up - SU, Against the Spread - ATS, Over-Under (O/U)

  • SU: 13-4
  • ATS: 7-10
  • SU - Home: 9-3
  • SU - Away: 4-1
  • O/U: 10-7

Arizona is coming off of a surprising road loss to Utah. The Wildcats were uncharacteristically held to under 60 points with the team's leading scorer James Akinjo only able to tally 10 total points.

It wasn’t a great performance from Bennnedict Mathurin either, as he was only able to score four points against Utah on one made field goal. Arizona’s offense is used to scoring at a highly-efficient rate.

They average 77.6 points per game, with an offensive efficiency rating of 109.7. Both averages rank within the top 60 nationally, and it's the first time Arizona failed to touch 60 points all season.

The team is still clearly trying to figure out how to consistently score without Jamarl Baker, although freshmen Mathurin and Azuolas Tubelis have stepped up in the juniors absence. Each are averaging 11.2 points per game.

Betting Analysis – Colorado Buffaloes

Straight Up - SU, Against the Spread - ATS, Over-Under (O/U)

  • SU: 13-5
  • ATS: 11-7
  • SU - Home: 8-1
  • SU - Away: 5-4
  • O/U: 7-10-1

Colorado is one of the more experienced teams in the country, as their top three scorers are all upperclassman. Leading the way is one of the greatest Colorado Buffalo players of all-time in McKinley Wright IV.

He averages 14.8 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game and 5.7 assists per game. He is the catalyst for this Colorado team which includes the defense. Colorado only allows 63.8 points per game, which ranks 41st in the nation.

The Buffalo defense is also very efficient, with a rating of 94.6 which ranks 70th in the country. Above all, Colorado is the best free-throw shooting team in the country, with an 84.1% free-throw percentage.

The offense also has an efficiency rating of 111.7, which ranks 31st in the country. Also, the Buffs have the 56th-best three-point percentage at 37%. This team can play defense, offense and has experience scattered throughout.

This is a very physical, veteran-led team that is tough to beat at home due to the style of play and thin altitude. Stamina becomes almost as important as anything else when playing the Buffaloes in Boulder.

  • CU - Jeriah Horne (11.1 PPG, 5.3 RPG)

Arizona-Colorado Predictions

Given Colorado's defense, the thin air and Arizona struggling on offense recently - try going UNDER here. The point total is a bit high despite Arizona scoring a ton of point against Colorado earlier this season. The loss of Baker makes this different though, along with the game played in Boulder.

Five is a bit high to take on the Buffaloes, who aren't a lock to even win this game SU. However, the odds lie with Colorado winning at home. Feel free to back the Buffs here but all the signs point towards at least one school failing to touch 70 points.

  • Score Prediction: Colorado 74 Arizona 69
