The Top 10-ranked Wahoos will face the Yellow Jackets for the second time this season. The last time they met it was a close shave in Charlottesville, with the Hoos coming out ahead by a 64-62 margin. They never came close to covering the 8.5-point number as the 'over' (123) connected.

Virginia has rattled off nine of the past 10 games since a 98-75 beatdown from Gonzaga on a neutral-site court Dec. 26. After a 4-1 ATS run from Jan. 9-25, the Cavaliers have struggled against the number with an 0-2-1 ATS mark across the past three.

Georgia Tech edged Notre Dame by an 82-80 count last time out, but they didn't cover the 3.5-point number. The Jackets enter on a 1-3 ATS skid across the past four, while the 'over' is 4-1-1 across the past six.

They rank just 186th in the country with 71.4 PPG, although they're seventh in the nation in 3-point shooting at 39.8 percent. They're also 19th in the nation with a 49.5 field-goal percentage, and they're the No. 2 ranked team in free-throw percentage at 81.5.

Virginia has hit the 'over' in five of the past seven overall, although the 'under' is 6-1 in their past seven against teams with a winning overall mark.

Virginia-Georgia Tech Predictions

We have already seen these teams play once this season, and Georgia Tech more than held their own in Charlottesville. Now they get the Hoos on their home floor in Atlanta looking to pull the upset, post a signature win and enhance their resume for the NCAA Tournament committee.

Virginia is 1-1 ATS in their two games this season as a favorite of five or fewer points, including a straight-up loss at Virginia Tech on Jan. 30, 65-51. The Cavaliers won't allow a lot of points, and the Yellow Jackets could keep them without a couple of buckets for the cover if they do not fall behind early and have to play catch-up.
