UPDATE 11 A.M. ET SATURDAY: James Madison tumbled from -12.5 to -8.5 by Tuesday at BetMGM, and the Dukes are now -9.5. Splits aren't available, but BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said Appalachian State drew sharp play at +11.5.

UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: James Madison (10-0 SU/7-3 ATS) thumped UConn 44-6 laying 25.5 points at home in Week 11. Appalachian State (6-4 SU/4-5-1 ATS) rolled over Georgia State 42-14 catching 3 points on the road.

The undefeated Dukes opened -12 on Caesars' college football Week 12 odds board. James Madison got bet down to -11 this morning and is now -11.5.

James Madison isn't ranked in the CFP poll, since it's in the second year of the two-year transition from FCS to FBS and therefore isn't eligible to play in a bowl game. But the Dukes are No. 18 in the AP poll.

So we're keeping JMU's games in this report, because we're not going to honor the NCAA's shortsightedness. The university is in the midst of its second appeal to the NCAA to reduce the transition to one year.
