Ahead of the 59th Annual Country Music Association Awards, VegasInsider has collected a list of all the records that could be broken at the 2025 ceremony. 

To highlight a few of the records that could be broken:

1. Chris Stapleton or Brooks & Dunn could break out of their tie and become the sole holder of the record for the most CMAs ever won. They are tied at 19 wins each, and at the 2025 ceremony, Stapleton is nominated for 3 more awards, while Brooks & Dunn are nominated for 1 more award. 
2. Lainey Wilson has a chance to become the first woman to ever win all the top 5 major awards at the CMAs in a single ceremony and she could also tie or break Miranda Lambert’s record for the most CMAs ever won by a female solo artist; Lamber’s current record is 14 wins and Wilson has won 9 awards with 6 nominations at the 2025 ceremony, which could bring her new total to 15 wins. Additionally, Wilson could also join Taylor Swift & Barbara Mandrell and become only the third woman in history to win Entertainer Of The Year on multiple occasions. 
3. Chris Stapleton could extend his record for the most wins in the Male Vocalist Of The Year category - a win in 2025 would be his 9th victory in the category. 
4. Old Dominion could extend their record for the most consecutive wins in the Vocal Group Of The Year category - a win in 2025 would be their 8th consecutive win in the category. 
5. Brooks & Dunn could extend their record for the most wins in the Vocal Duo Of The Year category - a win in 2025 would be their 16th victory in the category.
6. Kenny Chesney could break out of his tie with Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw & Vince Gill and become the sole holder of the record for the most wins in the Musical Event Of The Year category - a win in 2025 for “You Had To Be There” with Megan Moroney would be his 5th record-breaking victory.
