Ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics, VegasInsider has analyzed over 10,000 accommodation listings in Milan, Verona, Val De Fiemme, Livigno, Bormio, Cortina d’Ampezzo and Anterselva to find out what are the average prices for spectators of the tournament in all of the locations it is taking place. 

HIGHLIGHTS

According to the results of the analysis: 

• Milan Opening Ceremony (Feb 5–7): A 2-night stay for 2 adults averages €270 on Airbnb and €449 on Booking, up 39% and 69% compared to the week prior, respectively.
• Closing Ceremony in Verona (Feb 21–23): A 2-night stay for 2 adults costs €244 on Airbnb and €403 on Booking. Prices are about 11% lower than the week prior but roughly 14–26% higher than the week after, showing a moderate peak compared to surrounding weeks.
• Full-stay periods: Across key venues, full-stay accommodation during February shows substantial price surges. In Milan (Feb 4–22), Airbnb averages €2,602 and Booking €5,926 - 55% and 84% higher than the same period in March. Val di Fiemme also sees notable increases, with Airbnb up 16% and Booking up 55% vs March. Anterselva experiences surges as well, with Airbnb 157% higher and Booking 74% higher than a month later.
• Most expensive locations: Livigno and Bormio experience the largest spikes individually. In Livigno, Airbnb is 210% higher than March and Booking 81% higher, while in Bormio, Airbnb peaks at 277% higher and Booking at 270% higher. Cortina d’Ampezzo represents the most extreme case overall, with Booking prices reaching €64,953 for the full stay (Feb 3–23) - far exceeding all other venues.

1. MILAN - THE OPENING CEREMONY

When it comes to the opening ceremony, which will take place on the 6th of February in Milan, on average, a 2-night stay for 2 adults (between the 5th and the 7th of February) costs €270 (=$319) on Airbnb and €449 (=$531) on Booking. Interestingly, on Airbnb, the prices are only 39% higher than on the same days the week prior while the prices are 17% higher the week after. Meanwhile, on Booking, the prices are nearly 69% higher than on the same days the week prior, while the prices are about 28% higher the week after.

2. MILAN - FULL STAY

In Milan, numerous events will be taking place between the 5th and 22nd of February: Ice Hockey, Figure Skating, Speed Skating & Short Track Speed Skating. When looking at the whole period (4th to 23rd of February), the average accommodation price for 2 adults is €2,602 (=$3,076) on Airbnb and €5,926 (=$7,006) on Booking. So on Airbnb, the prices are 55% higher than for the same amount of days a month later, while on Booking, they are 84% higher than a month later.

3.VAL DE FIEMME - FULL STAY 

In Val di Fiemme, events including Ski Jumping, Cross-Country Skiing, and Nordic Combined will take place between the 7th and 22nd of February. When looking at the whole period (6th to 23rd of February), the average accommodation price for 2 adults is €2,677 (=$3,078) on Airbnb and €5,527 (=$6,360) on Booking. So on Airbnb, the prices are about 16% higher than for the same amount of days a month later, while on Booking, they are roughly 55% higher than a month later.

4. LIVIGNO - FULL STAY

In Livigno, events including Snowboarding and Freestyle Skiing will take place between the 7th and 21st of February. When looking at the whole period (6th to 22nd of February), the average accommodation price for 2 adults is €7,326 (=$8,461) on Airbnb and €11,110 (=$12,827) on Booking. So on Airbnb, the prices are about 210% higher than for the same amount of days a month later, while on Booking, they are roughly 81% higher than a month later.

5. BORMIO - FULL STAY

In Bormio, events including Alpine Skiing and Ski Mountaineering will take place between the 7th of February and the 21st of March. When looking at the whole period (6th to 22nd of February), the average accommodation price for 2 adults is €8,924 (=$10,308) on Airbnb and €13,970 (=$16,136) on Booking. So on Airbnb, the prices are about 277% higher than for the same amount of days a month later, while on Booking, they are roughly 270% higher than a month later.

6.CORTINA D’AMPEZZO - FULL STAY 

In Cortina d’Ampezzo, events including Alpine Skiing, Curling, Bobsleigh, Luge, and Skeleton will take place between the 4th and 22nd of February. When looking at the whole period (3rd to 23rd of February), the average accommodation price for 2 adults is €9,458 (=$10,927) on Airbnb and €64,953 (=$75,008) on Booking. So on Airbnb, the prices are about 169% higher than for the same amount of days a month later, while on Booking, they are roughly 178% higher than a month later.

7. ANTERSELVA - FULL STAY

In Anterselva (Antholz), Biathlon events will take place between the 8th and 21st of February. When looking at the whole period (7th to 22nd of February), the average accommodation price for 2 adults is €5,210 (=$6,021) on Airbnb and €6,727 (=$7,771) on Booking. So on Airbnb, the prices are about 157% higher than for the same amount of days a month later, while on Booking, they are roughly 74% higher than a month later.

8. VERONA - THE CLOSING CEREMONY

When it comes to the closing ceremony in Verona, taking place on the 22nd of February, on average, a 2-night stay for 2 adults (between the 21st and 23rd of February) costs €244 (=$287) on Airbnb and €403 (=$474) on Booking. Interestingly, on Airbnb, the prices are about 11% lower than on the same days the week prior and roughly 14% lower the week after. Meanwhile, on Booking, the prices during the closing ceremony are 4% lower than on the same days the week prior, while they decrease by about 26% the week after.

• The search was pre-set for 2 adults
