Coachella 2026 isn’t over yet, but prediction markets are already speculating on who will headline in 2027.

Over 100 artists’ chances of headlining, ranging from global superstars, returning favorites, and a new wave of Gen-Z headliners, are currently priced on Kalshi.  There is sure thing as of yet. However, a few names stand out from the pack with higher chances, including BTS and Billie Eilish.

• BTS leads the field: BTS have a 50% chance of headlining at the desert.
• Billie Eilish comes in 2nd: At 36%, she stands as the 2nd most likely headliner, driven by her proven Coachella track record and sustained global relevance. Her odds have dropped from the start of the festival.
• K-pop demand is surging: BTS (50%) and Stray Kids (23%) both rank near the top, highlighting strong market belief that a K-pop act could headline.
• Gen-Z artists are firmly in the mix: Chappell Roan (21%), Olivia Dean (34%), and Tate McRae (16%) reflect a clear shift toward younger, fast-rising talent being priced as legitimate headline contenders.
• Established stars still relevant—but not dominant: The Weeknd (10%) and Post Malone (9%) remain viable, safer fallback options, though neither is currently seen as a leading pick.
• Bieber's chances on the rise after performance: Justin Bieber remains a longshot to return next year. However, his chances are now 7%, up 3% since the festival started.

Top 10 Most Likely Coachella 2027 Headliners

1. BTS, 50%

The possibility of a full-group return to the desert continues to drive heavy interest. BTS at 50% reflects both massive demand and lingering uncertainty around timing and logistics. If confirmed, this would likely become one of the biggest headline moments in festival history.

2. Billie Eilish, 36% Chance

Eilish sits in 2nd place, with the market giving her a strong implied chance of headlining. Already a proven Coachella draw, her continued cultural relevance and festival pedigree make her a logical booking. At 36%, traders see her as the a relatively safe trade.

3. Olivia Dean, 34%

While historically Coachella favors globally dominant acts for headline slots, her rapid rise has clearly caught traders’ attention. The key question: is 2027 too soon?

4. Stray Kids, 23%

Trailing BTS but still firmly in the conversation, Stray Kids offer a compelling alternative if Coachella opts for a K-pop headliner without the scale of a full BTS reunion. Their global touring success suggests potential value at this price point.

5. Chappell Roan, 21%

One of the most buzzworthy artists right now, Chappell Roan’s 21% chance reflects both hype and hesitation. Traders appear split on whether she’s ready for a headline slot or more likely to land just below the top line as a sub-headliner.

5. Ariana Grande 21%

Tied for 5th with Chappell Roan, Ariana Grande has a 21% chance of headlining. While she remains far from a favorite, her chances have risen significantly in recent days. As recently as Thursday, she was only at 4%.

7. Drake, 18%

Drake sits at 18%, occupying a complicated space in the 2027 prediction market. While his status as a global titan makes him a perennial candidate, traders are weighing his massive commercial floor against a rocky history with the festival- most notably his 2015 headline set, which he famously admitted felt like an "L."

8. SZA, 17%

Despite critical acclaim and major festival appearances, SZA is priced surprisingly low. At 17%, the market if far from sure but that could create value if her momentum carries into 2027 booking decisions.

9. Tate McRae, 16%

McRae is one of the most expensive “next-gen” bets on the board. Her 16% chance suggests traders believe Coachella will continue leaning into younger pop stars. However, she’s priced above several established acts, making this a high-cost bet on a first-time headliner leap.

10. Fred again.. 13%

Fred again.. sits firmly in the outsider tier, but his presence on the board reflects Coachella’s growing appetite for electronic headliners. Known for his emotionally driven live sets and rapid rise through the global festival circuit, he represents a different kind of headline bet. At 13%, traders see him as far from a sure thing, but if Coachella leans into a more alternative or dance-focused top line, he could quickly gain momentum.

These artists sit further down the board, with markets assigning lower probabilities, but still leaving room for surprise announcements or late momentum shifts.

To Be Announced….

Many of the predicted artists are highly plausible and exciting. However, the final lineup will remain a mystery until Goldenvoice announces it (which historically happens in January). With booking decisions tied to touring cycles, album releases, and reunions, expect substantial movement in probabilities leading up to the official January announcement.
