Ahead of the 68th annual Grammy Awards, VegasInsider has collected a list of records that could be broken at the 2026 ceremony.
To highlight a few of the major records that could be broken:
- Kendrick Lamar could break Jay-Z’s record and become the most awarded rapper of all time at the Grammys - as of now, Jay-Z has won 25 Grammys while Lamar has won 22 Grammys, but he is nominated for 9 more awards in 2026, so by winning 4 or more Grammys, he would break Jay-Z’s record.
- Lady Gaga could break Adele & Beyoncé’s record for the most Grammys won in one night by a female artist - the current record is 6 wins and Gaga is nominated for 7 awards at the 2026 Grammys.
- Bruno Mars (nominated for “APT.”) could become the first artist to ever win 4 times in the Record Of The Year category. He previously won for "24K Magic", "Uptown Funk" & "Leave The Door Open".
- Billie Eilish (nominated for “WILDFLOWER”) could become the first woman to ever win 3 times in the Record Of The Year category. She previously won for "bad guy" & "Everything I Wanted".
- Bad Bunny’s “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” could become the first Spanish-language album to win in the Album Of The Year category while “DTMF” could become the first Spanish song to win in the Record & Song Of The Year categories and only the second foreign language song to win since 1959’s “Nel blu, dipinto di blu (Volare)", which was in Italian.
