Survey: The Most Wanted Headliner For The Super Bowl 2027 Halftime Show

The excitement over Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show has just settled, yet discussions are already ramping up about the next halftime show headliner for Super Bowl LXI which will take place in 2027 in Inglewood, California.

For that reason, VegasInsider has analyzed the answers of 3,000+ NFL fans who were asked about their preference for the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show headliner.

According to a survey of 3,000+ NFL fans, Taylor Swift turned out to be the most wanted headliner for the 2027 halftime show (7.6% of votes), followed by Elton John (5.3% of votes) and Adele (4.3% of votes).

#1 CHOICES OF THE NFL FANDOMS

When looking at all the NFL fandoms, once again, Taylor Swift was the most popular choice by the most fandoms - 13. She was the most popular choice for the 2027 headliner by the fans of: Baltimore Ravens, Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, New York Giants, New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers & Tennessee Titans. 

Meanwhile, 7 NFL fandoms chose Elton John as their most wanted 2027 headliner while 6 fandoms had Adele as their #1 choice - second and third most, respectively.

#1 CHOICES BY US STATES

When looking at the survey results state by state, Taylor Swift was the most popular choice in the most US states - 22 states had Swift as their #1 choice for headlining the 2027 halftime show. Namely, Swift was the #1 choice in: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Elton John was the #1 choice in 7 states while Red Hot Chili Peppers came out on top in 5 states.

When it comes to the male respondents, their top 3 choices for the 2027 halftime show headliner were: 

1. Taylor Swift (7.586% of votes)
2. Elton John (5.3% of votes)

1. Taylor Swift (7.583% of votes)
2. Adele (5.46% of votes)

Lastly, when looking at different age groups and their #1 choice for the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show headliner:
