The 2019 Presidents Cup Betting Results

The 2019 Presidents Cup from Royal Melbourne in Australia concluded Sunday and this outcome didn't sit well for bettors buying the upset.

The United States cashed tickets as a -275 favorite over the International Team, who was +225 underdog at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.

The win wasn't easy for the Americans, who trailed 10-8 going into Sunday's 12 singles matches.

The United States received big efforts from captain Tiger Woods, Patrick Reed and Dustin Johnson on the final day as the Americans posted an 8-4 mark in singles with two of the matches ending in singles.

Prior to the start of the tournament, the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook posted odds on which golfer will capture the most points at the Presidents Cup.

Justin Thomas of the United States lived up to the expectations of the oddsmakers and delivered with 3.5 total points, the most of all Americans. He was listed as a 5/1 favorite.

For the International side, we had a tie. According to the grading at the SuperBook -- In Case of a Tie, Odds will be divided by number of 1st Place Finishers.

Abraham Ancer (18/1) and Sungjae Im (8/1) both accumulated 3.5 points for the International team. Per the SuperBook, those tickets would be split in half on Ancer and Im.
