Betting the Breeder's Cup comes to a head with the Classic. The horse finished fourth in the 2019 Kentucky Derby and fifth in the 2019 Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile. He has won its last three starts and will likely go off as the 2020 Classic favorite, drawing the 8 position. The 2020 Belmont Stakes winner, Tiz the Law, has never been out of the money in eight career starts, producing six wins, one place and one show. The horse will race out of the 2 post. The colt captured a decisive victory and ran away from the field in the Runhappy Travers Stakes on Aug. 8 from Saratoga but came up short in the Kentucky Derby to Authentic. Authentic will line up next to Improbable in gate 9 and has morning-line odds of 6/1. BC Classic Best BetsBreeders' Cup Juvenile OddsWhile the Classic is the main race on Saturday, the Juvenile is the feature on Day 1 of the Breeders' Cup. The winner of the Juvenile is always considered a contender for next year's Kentucky Derby. Jackie's Warrior opened as the 7/5 morning-line favorite and the oddsmakers at Keeneland only believe Essential Quality (4/1) and Reinvestment Risk (9/2) can contend on Friday evening.

Only one of the 49 horses that have gone off at 100-1 or higher has hit the board. Arcangues came from the other side of the pond to win the 1993 Classic as the biggest longshot in Breeders’ Cup history, returning $269.20.
