2020 Breeders' Cup Classic Odds

The main event of the Breeders' Cup is the Breeders' Cup Classic, which is the last race of the two-day event. Betting the Breeder's Cup comes to a head with the Classic. So, expect this Breeder's Cup challenge to see the most betting action.

The "Classic" is the Super Bowl of horse racing as bettors get to wager on the best active horses in the industry. Make sure you get your Breeder's Cup pick in early and keep tabs on the Classic odds leading up to race start.

The field for the Classic and the other 13 races won't be official until weeks before the event but consensus odds have been posted on this year's BC Classic race.

The pre-entries were announced on Wednesday Oct. 28 and bettors will be looking at a field of 11 for the BC Classic.

The post-position draw for all of the races took place on Monday, Nov. 2 for all 14 races.

BC Classic Contenders

Improbable has 14 career starts, winning seven races and finishing second three times. The horse finished fourth in the 2019 Kentucky Derby and fifth in the 2019 Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile. He has won its last three starts and will likely go off as the 2020 Classic favorite, drawing the 8 position.

The 2020 Belmont Stakes winner, Tiz the Law, has never been out of the money in eight career starts, producing six wins, one place and one show. The horse will race out of the 2 post.

The colt captured a decisive victory and ran away from the field in the Runhappy Travers Stakes on Aug. 8 from Saratoga but came up short in the Kentucky Derby to Authentic.

Authentic will line up next to Improbable in gate 9 and has morning-line odds of 6/1.
