NBA Prop Bets for Thursday, March 10

Prop betting expert Stuart Durst gives his top prop bets to consider for NBA action on Thursday, March 10. Check out his top plays for today's hardwood action below.

  • Kevin Durant (BKN) Over 28.5 points -120 at BetMGM
  • James Harden (PHI) Triple-Double +340 at DraftKings
  • Tyrese Maxey (PHI) Over 0.5 steals -160 at Caesars

KEVIN DURANT OVER 28.5 POINTS

Kevin Durant is averaging 29.1 points on the season, 32 against the 76ers, and 30.5 on the road this season. Once again, Durant is playing at an elite level and I expect that to continue in tonight's primetime matchup. Since coming back from injury, Durant has been the same guy, scoring 37 & 31 points in his first two matchups while taking a backseat last game letting Kyrie go for 50.

Durant is known for being one of the most deadly midrange players in NBA history, and should have a better matchup then Kyrie. Durant is already playing playoff minutes (40, 39, 35) and this game will definitely have a playoff atmosphere, I would have priced his points at 31.5.

JAMES HARDEN TRIPLE-DOUBLE

This one is pretty simple, we love to target James Harden in these games that are heavily influenced by narratives. As we all know, Harden just left the Nets, citing the fact that he didn't believe they could win a championship. Well now he’s in Philly, and off to a good start, averaging 24.4 points, 12.4 assists, and 7.6 rebounds per game. These two teams clearly dont like eachother very much, and with Harden already playing great basketball, I expect him to continue rolling against the Nets lackluster defense.

TYRESE MAXEY OVER 0.5 STEALS

This is one of my favorite parlay pieces on today's slate. As everyone knows, this is a market that depends on traits like effort, which can be harder to predict than more traditional categories. That being said, Maxey has been absolutely supercharged on the defensive side of the ball since Harden came to town.

Over his last 10 games he's averaging over a steal per game, and that's only increased with 10 steals in the 5 games since Hardens joined the squad. In a game with a total of 234, there are plenty of possessions to go around, and with Maxey playing some of the best basketball of his life, I expect him to continue his streak today. A clever way I played this was Maxey 1+ Steal/Durant 25+ Points for +110 on Draftkings.
