It’s been a roller-coaster ride since Christmas for the defending champion Raptors (25-14 SU, 21-18 ATS), who have alternated wins and losses for the last nine games. It started with a 16-point home setback to the Celtics and has been book-ended with a 105-104 defeat to the Spurs on Sunday as 4 ½-point favorites. Toronto led by 13 points heading into the fourth quarter, but San Antonio outscored the champs, 36-22 in the final 12 minutes to hand the Raptors their third loss in their last four home contests.

The Thunder (23-17 SU, 27-13 ATS) dug themselves out of a 6-11 hole by winning 17 of their past 23 contests. Since losing at home to Memphis on December 26, Oklahoma City has posted an incredible 8-2 SU and 9-1 ATS mark the previous 10 contests, including underdog wins over Toronto, Dallas, and Houston. The Thunder rebounded from a surprising home loss to the short-handed Lakers by pulling away from the Timberwolves on Monday, 117-104 as two-point road favorites.

The Raptors own an underwhelming 6-8 ATS mark in the underdog role this season, including a 4-7 SU and 5-6 ATS record as a road ‘dog. The Thunder have lost outright in the past two opportunities as a home favorite against the Lakers and Grizzlies, but have covered in four of their last six chances in the chalk role.

Oklahoma City posted a 7-2 mark to the UNDER from December 26 through January 9 before putting up OVERS in its last two games. Billy Donovan’s team has eclipsed the 110-point mark in six straight contests, although the Thunder needed overtime to reach 111 points against the Nets on January 7. Toronto is riding a 6-2 UNDER run the past eight games, but the last two road games for the Raptors have hit the OVER.

These teams last met on December 29 at Scotiabank Arena as OKC edged Toronto, 98-97. The Thunder cashed as 4 ½-point underdogs behind a game-high 32 points from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, while backcourt mate Chris Paul added 25 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. The Thunder have captured five of the last six meetings from the Raptors since March 2017, but the Raptors knocked off Oklahoma City in overtime at Chesapeake Energy Arena last March, 123-114 in overtime.
