Evan Fournier (NYK) Over 11.5 Points (-110)

Evan Fournier quickly became a crucial part of the Knicks’ offense after acquiring him from Boston prior to last season, as Fournier averaged a sturdy 14.1 PPG on 42% FG and 39% 3FG to go along with 2.2 REB and 2.6 AST in his first campaign with the New York.

Fournier’s volume numbers have fallen a bit out of the gate this season, but he’s still playing solid basketball, highlighted by Fournier averaging just 11.8 PPG on 42% FG and 40% 3FG across the Knicks’ first six contests of the year.

Despite his relatively low numbers thus far, Fournier has still managed to score 11+ PTS in four-of-six matchups to open the season, with his lowest scoring output during that span clocking in at eight points. So, I’ll back him to have a solid night against a Hawks backcourt that’s notorious for struggling to defend the perimeter.

Cade Cunningham (DET) Over 21.5 Points (-110)

Cade Cunningham posted a relatively pedestrian start to the season, as Detroit’s second-year Oklahoma State product averaged a modest 18.5 PPG on 17.5 FGA across the Pistons’ first four contests of the year, with his highest scoring output during that timeframe clocking in at 22 PTS against the Pacers.

However, his volume numbers have seen a major uptick since that opening stretch, highlighted by Cunningham racking up 27.3 PPG on 22.3 FGA across the Pistons’ ensuing four affairs, with three of those performances eclipsing 26 PTS. So I’ll back Cunningham, to keep it going here after putting up 27 PTS on 11-of-23 shooting against Milwaukee just a few days ago.

Mike Conley (UTA) Over 11.5 Points (-120)

Utah has been one of the biggest surprises in the league to open the season, as the Jazz opened with an impressive 6-2 run despite the departures of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, with their only losses coming on the road in Houston and Denver.

It doesn’t always show up on the stat sheet, but Mike Conley has played an enormous role Utah’s success thus far, as he averaged 11.6 PPG on 38% FG and 43% 3FG across the Jazz’ first eight contests of the season, despite averaging just seven points on 33% FG across a back-to-back set against the Pelicans and Rockets.

I’ll back Conley to score 12+ PTS tonight, as he already scored 12+ PTS in five of the seven contests that he participated in this season, and I expect that trend to continue after averaging 14 PPG on 48% FG and 60% 3FG across his most recent three-game stint.
