OG Anunoby (TOR) Over 5.5 Rebounds

Toronto has completely fallen off the wagon over the last month or so, considering the Raptors enter Tuesday following losses in 10 of their last 14 games, with five of those defeats coming by distant double-digit margins.

However, Toronto's struggles certainly can’t be blamed on OG Anunoby, considering he’s averaging a modest 16 PPG, 6.3 REB, and 2 AST across the Raptors’ latest 4-10 skid.

Recently, though, his numbers on the glass have stood out more than anything, highlighted by Anunoby grabbing 5+ rebounds in 10 of his last 12 outings, and 6+ rebounds in 7-of-12.

So, I’ll back Anunoby to have a solid night in the rebounding department against a Hornets squad that currently ranks Top 10 in the league in pace (101.7 PACE).

Cleveland Cavaliers -3 (-110) @ UTA

In the first meeting of the year between these teams, Cleveland ran away with a lopsided home win that was never in doubt, as the Cavs went to halftime with an 18-point lead over the Jazz, and ultimately, they coasted to a 122-99 victory.

This time around, though, tensions could be higher with Donovan Mitchell returning to Salt Lake City to face his former team on Tuesday night.

The Jazz barreled out to a stunning 10-3 start in the immediate aftermath of their superstar duo’s departure.

However, this has been one of the worst teams in basketball since that opening stretch, considering the Jazz enter Tuesday following losses in 20 of their last 30 games, and they’ve already fallen to 11th in the Western Conference standings with a record of 20-23.

This Jazz squad still stands toe-to-toe with the best in the league at the offensive end of the floor, considering Utah ranks Top 5 in the league in both points scored and offensive rating on the season (118 PPG, 116.5 ORtg).

Offense is only 50% of the game, though, and if a team can’t get stops at the other end, it’s almost impossible to maintain any sort of consistency, highlighted by the Jazz racking up a lofty average of 120 PPG across their last eight contests, yet they still lost seven of those affairs.

While on the other hand, Cleveland has hit a bit of a rough patch recently. The Cavaliers are now 4-4 in their last eight games, which has been somewhat jarring after their impressive 22-11 run to open the season.

Unlike Utah, though, Cleveland is a complete squad, currently ranked Top 10 in the league in both offensive and defensive rating (114.7 ORtg, 109.6 DRtg). And there’s no reason to think the Cavs will come up short against a team they blew out just a few weeks ago.

Magic-Trail Blazers Under 229 (-110)

The Magic have partaken in a handful of high-scoring battles recently, which has been a pretty off-brand stretch for this squad, considering they’re averaging 115 PPG across their last 13 games, despite ranking 27th in scoring and 19th in pace on the season (110 PPG, 114.4 PACE).

However, there’s a good chance Orlando’s scoring numbers take a dip tonight, as the Magic are set to visit Portland, who currently ranks 20th in the league in scoring and 24th in pace (112 PPG, 97.8 PACE).

The Magic have struggled at the defensive end all season, and now that their offense is playing decent, having tallied 115+ points in three of their last four games, the total for this matchup is stationed near the OU 230 mark, which is awfully high for a meeting between a pair of squads that both rank Bottom 10 in the league in scoring.

So, I’ll back Orlando to revert to its low-scoring ways against a Blazers squad that’s now scored 110 points or less in seven of their last 11 games (111 PPG).
