MILWAUKEE BUCKS vs. CLEVELAND CAVALIERS BETTING PREDICTION

The Bucks have posted a relatively pedestrian record of 2-2 in their last four games in the absence of Giannis Antetokoumpo and Khris Middleton. But with both guys now upgraded to questionable for Saturday’s affair, the Bucks travel to Cleveland as short two-point underdogs against the Cavaliers tonight.

Cleveland struggled on its latest West Coast stint, highlighted by the Cavs playing six of their last eight games on the road, and they walked away with losses in five of those matchups.

However, due to their latest shortcomings, the Cavs are being offered at a very generous price at home in Saturday’s matchup, considering they’ve posted records of 19-5 SU and 16-8 ATS at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse this season, and there’s a good chance Milwaukee won’t be at full strength in this contest.

Cleveland’s injury report isn’t a clean slate either, though. Donovan Mitchell has also missed back-to-back games with an injury, and it’s still not clear whether or not he’s going to suit up for the Cavs tonight.

So, in a matchup with so many potential variables on the table, your safest bet probably lies with the Cavs to bounce back at home against a Bucks squad that’s 4-8 in their last 12 road games.

MILWAUKEE BUCKS BETTING ANALYSIS

Antetokounmpo is an absolute force of nature, and whenever he’s at full strength, it automatically elevates the Bucks to elite status during the regular season, because let’s face it, nobody wants to defend Giannis barreling through the paint in the midst of an 82-game campaign.

However, remove Giannis from the equation, and this Milwaukee squad isn’t all that special, especially with Middleton also dealing with an injury at the moment.

The Bucks are now 7-8 in their last 15 games, which stems from a variety of issues, and ultimately, I expect them to get back on track rather soon. But there’s a good chance their struggles continue on the road tonight against a much healthier Cavs squad that desperately needs a feel-good win.

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS BETTING ANALYSIS

To finish off the Cavs’ latest bumpy 6-5 stretch, Mitchell picked up an injury at the tail end, which led to two more losses, and it’s dampened the overall merit of their recent road trip.

Prior to their latest three-game stretch, the Cavs played five straight road matchups against Denver, Phoenix, Utah, Portland, and Minnesota. And they escaped with victories in two of those affairs, plus, they lost one to the Jazz by just two points (L, 116-114).

Admittedly, a record of 3-5 in their last eight games isn’t an impressive feat, and it’s actually worrisome for Cleveland bettors if Mitchell is unable to suit up tonight.

However, putting their recent results aside, and evaluating the given set of circumstances, the Cavs play phenomenal on their home floor, and they’re the far more trustworthy option in this matchup.
