UPDATE 5:15 P.M. ET SATURDAY: San Diego State opened and remains a 2-point favorite at TwinSpires Sportsbook. Spread betting shows a modest lean toward the Aztecs, at 60% of tickets/58% of money.

The total inched up from 142.5 to 143, with 57% of tickets on the Under/71% of money on the Over.

"Sharp play on Over 142.5," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.

UPDATE 12:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: San Diego State hung 50 points on No. 1 seed Utah State in the second half en route to an 86-70 semifinal victory Friday. The Aztecs (24-9 SU/14-16-1 ATS) covered as 4.5-point favorites, ending an 0-4 ATS slide.

New Mexico (25-9 SU/22-11 ATS) topped No. 7 seed Colorado State 74-61 laying 2.5 points. The Lobos are trying to win four games in four days, and they're 3-0 SU and ATS so far. New Mexico is on a 5-0 ATS upswing (4-1 SU).

San Diego State and New Mexico met twice in the regular season. The home team went 2-0 SU and ATS.

For the third meeting, BetMGM opened San Diego State a 2.5-point favorite in the Mountain West Tournament odds market. It's two-way action, with 59% of tickets on San Diego State/52% of money on New Mexico.

The total opened at 141.5 and is now 142.5 (Under -115), with 64% of tickets on the Over/52% of money on the Under.
