The Most Single NFL Fanbases: Falcons Lead, Bengals Know Heartbreak
Some fans spend Sundays with a spouse and a snack tray. Others are spending gameday with the group chat and a dating app open during halftime.
To see which NFL fanbases are the most single, Vegas Insider surveyed 3,058 fans across the league and asked them their relationship status — from single and dating to married, divorced, or living with a partner.
Percentages reflect the share of each team’s fanbase in each relationship category.
Key Findings
- Atlanta Falcons fans are the most single in the NFL, with 38% reporting they’re single — the highest share in the league.
- Houston Texans and New York Giants fans are close behind, tying for 2nd place with 35% of fans' single.
- Indianapolis Colts fans are the least single fanbase, with just 11% reporting they’re single.
- Cincinnati Bengals fans have the highest divorced share at 26%.
- 62% of New York Jets and LA Chargers fans are married, more than any other team.
- 8% of 49ers fans picked ‘Other,’ more than any other fanbase, suggesting 49ers fans may have some of the most complicated relationships in the league.
The Most Single NFL Fanbases, From Most Single To Least
Falcons fans are the NFL’s biggest singles crowd: At 38% single, Atlanta leads the league by a noticeable margin — not just first place, but a clear outlier.
Texans, Giants, and Raiders fans round out the top tier: Houston and New York Giants fans are tied at 35%, with the Raiders and Vikings close behind at 34%, making them the strongest “single scene” fanbases outside Atlanta.
Seahawks fans are the most “modern relationship” fanbase: Seattle ranks top 10 for single fans (23%) and leads the league in living with a partner (15%), suggesting a younger, cohabitation-heavy fanbase.
Colts fans are the least single fanbase: Only 11% of Colts fans report being single — easily the lowest in the dataset.
