Houston Texans vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Prediction

This total has already been bet down to 38.5, so the window to bet on the under is narrower.

Instead, let's bet on the better team. The Texans have become a sleeper darling of sorts thanks to their elite defense. But I worry about their long-term prospects because of their fragility on offense.

However, I doubt the Steelers' defense will expose their weaknesses. Under Mike Tomlin, the Steelers have specialized in playing single-high/man coverage, which bodes well for CJ Stroud and Nico Collins. The Texans' offense has stalled when playing zone-heavy teams like the Chargers and Seahawks, but that won't be the case here.

Additionally, the Steelers' defense has not been able to generate pressure like their former teams. According to Pro Football Reference, the Steelers are 19th in QB Pressure %.

Although Pittsburgh will get DK Metcalf back from suspension, they'll still be without TE Darnell Washington, who was an engine for them in the run game. Houston has a number of advantages in this one - have confidence backing the better team.
