2021 Tennessee Titans Betting Odds, Predictions, Preview
The Titans are expected to battle the Indianapolis Colts for the AFC South Division title, and both teams are very close in terms of the odds to win the division.
Tennessee made a huge splash by landing Julio Jones to help out the offense, and expectations in Nashville are sky-high with Jones joining fellow wideout A.J. Brown, along with the dynamic Derrick Henry in the backfield. Signal caller Ryan Tannehill has an embarrassment of riches at the skill positions, and it should be a very fun season in Nashville.
The schedule maker certainly wasn't kind to the Titans, as they have a tough start. Yes, two of their first three are at home, but facing Arizona and Indianapolis at home, and Seattle on the road, is a tough way to start in September. If they can win at least two of those games, especially against the Colts, they'll have the early upper hand. With the addition of Jones, they're expected to win those type of games.
After facing the Jets and Jaguars on the road, two winnable games, the schedule maker deals with Titans another ugly stretch with five games against playoff contenders Buffalo and Kansas City at home, Indianapolis and the L.A. Rams on the road, and New Orleans at home. They'd do well to win three of those games.
The latter part of the schedule lightens up a bit, but if this team is going to post a double-digit win total, they are certainly going to earn it. It's a rough schedule for sure, but they should be good for at least 10 wins.

Tennessee Titans Odds to Win AFC South
The Colts are in the same boat, as they have to face the same kind of schedule. The addition of Jones should push the Titans over the top, as long as the receiver can stay healthy. That's always a big deal with Jones, although even without him last season, the Titans were a formidable foe.
Tennessee is a much better value than Indianapolis, who have slightly shorter odds. Assuming the Titans stay healthier, I like their skill position players a lot more, and they should be able to score a ton.
Tennessee Titans Odds to Win AFC Championship
You have the usual suspects, as the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers give the AFC a lot of hungry teams capable of representing the conference in the Super Bowl. The Titans are certainly worth a small-unit play at this price, but it won't be very easy.
Tennessee Titans Odds to Win Super Bowl 56
The Titans brass feel as if they have improved their chances dramatically by landing Jones, but winning a championship will still take a lot of doing. With the schedule Tennessee has been dealt, they'll have a difficult time just getting to double-digit wins. I'd give it a big 'no' on Tennessee hoisting the Lombardi Trophy this season.
Tennessee Titans 2021 MVP Contenders & Odds
Ryan Tannehill +3000
Derrick Henry +5000
Julio Jones +15000
Of the three MVP contenders for the Titans, Henry is the much better option, as he'll be doing a lot of the heavy lifting, and the addition of Jones to the receiving corps will actually open things up for him that much more.
Yes, Tannehill has the shortest odds of the triumvirate, but he isn't going to beat out the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson and some of the other contenders at his same position.
As far as Jones is concerned, he carries the most risk since he has a penchant for injury, especially with his hamstrings. I wouldn't touch him for an MVP bet with a 10-foot pole, and he'll also be trying to adjust to a new offensive scheme, new city and facing new opponents to make life more difficult.

The best bet here is for the Titans to make the playoffs. It would be stunning if Tennessee wasn't among the AFC postseason teams. The schedule isn't terribly kind, but there are enough opportunities for some easy wins in between tough stretches. Look for the Titans to qualify with 10 victories, and play during the AFC Wild-Card weekend. I don't like Vrabel's odds of coach of the year honors, however, as I just don't think the writers will side with him if they won 10 or 11 games, especially after adding Jones. That's just not enough to wow the voters.
