2022 Tennessee Titans Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions

2022 TENNESSEE TITANS BETTING ODDS, PREDICTIONS, PREVIEW

The Titans cruised to an AFC South title with a record of 12-5 last season, which paced the Colts (9-8), Texans (4-13), and Jaguars (3-14) by a distant margin, and tied the Chiefs for the top spot in the conference; however, Tennessee’s 27-3 victory over Kansas City back in Week 7 ultimately served as the differentiating factor between the top two squads in the AFC.

Tennessee encountered quite a bit of adversity last year, as Titans’ All-Pro RB Derrick Henry missed nearly half of the season due to a foot injury, who’s absolutely crucial to Tennessee’s identity on the offensive side of the ball.

However, Tennessee’s defense picked up tons of slack last season, as the Titans finished the year ranked 6th in points allowed and 11th in total defense (20.7 PPG, 331 YPG), while offensively, they ranked just 14th in scoring and 17th in total yardage (24.2 PPG, 343 YPG); which isn’t what you typically expect from an AFC contender, but Tennessee still scratched and clawed its way to the top seed in the conference against all odds, so the sky is the limit if they stay healthy.

Best Bet: Titans to Make the Playoffs (-115)

WIN TOTAL ODDS

  • Over 9.5 (+110)
  • Under 9.5 (-140)

Tennessee’s win total is stationed at OU 9.5 with a moderate lean towards the under at -140; which is solid value on the over considering the Titans have posted 11+ wins in back-to-back campaigns, and they played nearly half of last season without a crucial part of their offense due to Henry’s foot injury.

TENNESSEE TITANS ODDS TO WIN AFC SOUTH

+140

Tennessee is listed at +135 to win the AFC South, which is the second-best odds to win the division behind the Colts (-105), yet still paces the Jaguars (+700) and Texans (+2500) by a distant margin; and again, there’s solid value on the table here, as the Titans have now won back-to-back AFC South titles, and I don’t see QB Matt Ryan elevating Indianapolis enough to edge the reigning conference one-seed.

TENNESSEE TITANS ODDS TO WIN AFC CHAMPIONSHIP

+1500

The Titans are listed at +1600 to win AFC, which is tied with the Dolphins for the ninth-best odds to win conference ahead of the Raiders (+2000), Patriots (+2000), and Steelers (+4000); and while Tennessee strikes me as more of a “regular season squad,” the Titans still have a much higher ceiling than rest of the teams in that department.

TENNESSEE TITANS ODDS TO WIN SUPER BOWL 57

+3000

The Titans are listed at +3000 to win this year’s Super Bowl, which ranks near the bottom of legitimate postseason contenders behind the Browns (+2500), Colts (+2500), Eagles (+2500), Cardinals (+3000), and Dolphins (+3000); and while personally, I doubt Tennessee will make a deep playoff run, it’s tough to argue against a squad that cruised to the top seed in the conference without its best player for half of last season.

TENNESSEE TITANS MVP CONTENDERS & ODDS

Derrick Henry (RB) +3300

Ryan Tannehill (QB) +12500

Titans’ QB Ryan Tannehill is listed at +10000 to win this year’s MVP award, which ranks very close to the bottom of the starting QB totem pole alongside Zach Wilson (+10000), Daniel Jones (+10000), and Jimmy Garoppolo (+10000); and while MVP might not exactly be on the table for Tennessee, Comeback Player of the Year certainly is, as his running mate Henry (+350) enters as the preseason favorite over Saints’ QB Jameis Winston (+500) and Giants’ QB Daniel Jones (+850).

TENNESSEE TITANS TO MAKE PLAYOFFS ODDS

Make Playoff?: Yes (-115) | No (-115)

The Titans won their second straight AFC South title with a record of 12-5 last season, which was enough to secure the top spot in the conference and a bye through the first round of the playoffs; and while Tennessee’s success may seem relatively unsustainable, I still expect them to post a solid campaign reach the postseason with relative ease
