2026 NFL Odds for Week 9

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Baltimore Ravens Odds

  • Opening point spread: Jaguars -7.5
  • Opening moneyline: Jaguars -375/Ravens +300
  • Opening total: Over/Under 43.5 points scored
  • Time: 8:15 p.m. ET Thursday (Prime)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Baltimore (4-4 SU/2-6 ATS) got Lamar Jackson back in Week 8. For one play. Jackson suffered a thumb injury on the Ravens' first possession and didn't return against Buffalo, while Baltimore got drilled 36-10 catching 3 points on the road.

The Ravens are on a three-game SU skid and are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games. Jackson is going to have surgery and then go on IR. Furthermore, backup Tyler Huntley exited in the first half with a toe injury. With a short week, Huntley is questionable in Week 9.

Meanwhile, Jacksonville (5-2 SU/4-3 ATS) had no trouble at all with Indianapolis. The Jaguars led 28-0 at halftime and rolled to a 42-7 victory as 10-point home favorites.

Borgata Sports, a BetMGM shop in Atlantic City, opened Jags-Ravens at Jacksonville -7.5 in NFL odds Week 9. And it climbed to Jags -8.5 Sunday night.

"It was an absolute disaster for the Ravens in Buffalo, with Lamar going out after one pass, after waiting weeks to get him back on the field," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "And then Huntley didn’t last much longer."

So third-string rookie Joe Fagnano, who finished vs. the Bills, might get the start Thursday night.

"The Ravens' injury problems at QB loom large, with the Jags opening up over a touchdown favorite on the road, and now the number is up to 8.5," Gable said. "The Ravens will most likely be seen as a team to fade by bettors for the remainder of the season.

"With a fully healthy Lamar — which he hasn't been for quite some time — I would have about an 8.5-point difference to the third-string Fagnano. This game probably would be a pick 'em, with the Ravens' defense being as bad as it has been."

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Atlanta Falcons Odds

  • Opening point spread: Bengals -3.5
  • Opening moneyline: Bengals -190/Falcons +155
  • Opening total: Over/Under 50.5 points scored
  • Time: 9:30 a.m. ET Sunday (NFL Network)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Cincinnati (5-2 SU/3-3-1 ATS) was the biggest favorite in NFL Week 8 odds, yet got all it could handle from Tennessee. The Bengals needed a late touchdown to tie it at 36 and force overtime.

On the opening OT drive, QB Joe Burrow ran it in from 9 yards out. Cincy's defense then stopped Tennessee, and the Bengals escaped with a 43-36 victory as hefty 13.5-point home favorites.

Atlanta (3-5 SU and ATS) continued with its identity-crisis season in Week 8. After dealing San Francisco its first loss, the Falcons went to Tampa Bay as 2.5-point underdogs and didn't score a point, losing 16-0.

Bengals-Falcons takes place in Madrid. Borgata Sports opened Cincy -3.5 and stayed there Sunday night in NFL Week 9 odds.

"The Bengals put a scare into everyone still alive in a survivor pool this weekend and now head overseas to Spain, to take on an Atlanta team desperately trying to keep pace in its division," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said.

"There was some early Falcons money, along with some money on the Over, when we opened the numbers on this game."

Los Angeles Rams vs. Washington Commanders Odds

  • Opening point spread: Rams -6
  • Opening moneyline: Rams -250/Commanders +200
  • Opening total: Over/Under 48 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Los Angeles (4-4 SU and ATS) is back to .500 after a 2-4 start. The Rams led 10-9 the Chargers 10-9 at halftime, then shut out the Bolts in the second half of a 24-9 victory as a 6.5-point "home" favorite in the all-L.A. battle.

Washington (2-4-1 SU/4-3 ATS) was down 10-0 in the first quarter to a way-shorthanded Philly outfit. But the Commanders did the rest of the scoring Sunday night, winning 27-10 as 5.5-point home favorites.

Rams-Commanders opened at L.A. -6 in Borgata's Week 9 NFL odds Sunday might.

"Not exactly an appealing game to the betting public at large," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "We’ve taken some money on the Commanders as home 'dogs, but nothing that moved the opening number."

New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles Odds

  • Opening point spread: Giants -2.5
  • Opening moneyline: Giants -140/Eagles +115
  • Opening total: Over/Under 40 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: New York (4-2-1 SU/5-2 ATS) is coming off its bye week and still leads the underperforming NFC East. In Week 7, the Giants were 10-point road underdogs and upset Houston 27-21 in overtime.

Philadelphia (2-6 SU/1-7 ATS) had no Jalen Hurts at QB and no DeVonta Smith or Dontayvion Wicks at wideout. Somehow, the Eagles still got out to a 10-0 lead at Washington. But Philly didn't score again in a 27-10 loss as a 5.5-point pup.

Borgata Sports opened New York -2.5.

"The NFC East-leading Giants will be coming in off their bye week to face the beleaguered Eagles," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "Every week I say we will end up needing the Eagles, and every week I’m wrong.

"I may as well say it again for Week 9: We will probably need the Eagles in this spot."

Denver Broncos vs. Carolina Panthers Odds

  • Opening point spread: Broncos -2.5
  • Opening moneyline: Broncos -150/Panthers +125
  • Opening total: Over/Under 44.5 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Denver (6-2 SU and ATS) continued a trend that began last season, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. The Broncos trailed Kansas City 24-13 in the fourth quarter, but scored two TDs in the final 8:55 to post a thrilling 28-24 win.

After taking the lead with 1:55 left, Denver let K.C. drive to the 1-yard line, but kept the Chiefs out of the end zone. The Broncos are 6-1 SU and ATS since a season-opening loss at Kansas City.

Carolina (3-4 SU and ATS) is a little more rested, coming off a mini-bye after playing in the Week 8 Thursday night game. But the Panthers lost that outing at Green Bay, 27-19 catching 3.5 points. Carolina is on an 0-2 SU and ATS hiccup.

BetMGM opened Denver -2.5 and went to -3 about an hour later Sunday night. The total opened at 44.5 and dipped to 44/43.5.

New York Jets vs. Kansas City Chiefs Odds

  • Opening point spread: Chiefs -9.5
  • Opening moneyline: Chiefs -525/Jets +400
  • Opening total: Over/Under 45.5 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Kansas City (5-2 SU/3-4 ATS) was poised to take control of the AFC West, with first-and-goal at the Denver 4 and 35 seconds to play. Somehow, Patrick Mahomes & Co. couldn't punch it in, and the Chiefs lost 28-24 as 1-point road favorites.

K.C. took a 24-13 lead late in the third quarter and kept that advantage until midway through the fourth quarter. But the Chiefs gave up two TDs from there.

New York (2-6 SU/4-3-1 ATS) led Las Vegas by nine on two occasions, 23-14 at halftime and 30-21 midway through the third quarter. But the Jets gave up 17 of the game's final 20 points and lost 38-33 as 1.5-point home favorites.

The Chiefs opened as 9.5-point home chalk at BetMGM and quicky advanced to -10. Ninety minutes later Sunday night, K.C. returned to -9.5. The total nudged from 45 to 45.5.

Detroit Lions vs. Miami Dolphins Odds

  • Opening point spread: Lions -7.5
  • Opening moneyline: Lions -375/Dolphins +300
  • Opening total: Over/Under 49.5 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Detroit (5-2 SU/2-4-1 ATS) had its second straight sluggish scoring performance, but got to the finish line in Week 8. The Lions needed a 7-yard Jameson Williams TD catch with 4:35 left to beat Minnesota 19-15 as 3.5-point home favorites.

Miami (1-6 SU/3-3-1 ATS) surprisingly had New England in a 13-3 halftime hole. But the Dolphins couldn't make it stand up, allowing the next 21 points while losing 24-19 as 7-point home underdogs.

BetMGM opened Lions-Dolphins at Detroit -7.5 (-105) Sunday night, and the line quickly dipped to -7. The total went from 49.5 to 49 Sunday night.

Cleveland Browns vs. New Orleans Saints Odds

  • Opening point spread: Saints -2.5
  • Opening moneyline: Saints -145/Browns +120
  • Opening total: Over/Under 43 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Cleveland (5-3 SU and ATS) saw its 5-1 SU and ATS surge end in Week 8. The Browns were 3.5-point pups at Pittsburgh and got drilled 27-6, managing just a pair of second-quarter field goals.

New Orleans (2-5 SU/3-4 ATS) is coming off its bye week and is on a 1-4 SU and ATS slide. The Saints spent Week 7 in Paris, losing to Pittsburgh 16-10 as 3-point underdogs.

New Orleans opened -2.5 in BetMGM's NFL Week 9 odds and got to -3 Sunday night. The total opened at 43 and briefly touched 43.5, then returned to 43.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Indianapolis Colts Odds

  • Opening point spread: Cowboys -5.5
  • Opening moneyline: Cowboys -250/Colts +210
  • Opening total: Over/Under 52.5 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Dallas (3-5 SU/4-4 ATS) was in a good spot to post its first back-to-back wins of the season. The Cowboys were 7.5-point home faves vs. Arizona and led by 14 at multiple junctures, including 24-10 in the first minute of the fourth quarter.

But Dallas gave it all back, getting dragged to OT in a 30-30 tie before losing 33-30.

Indianapolis (2-6 SU/3-5 ATS) had no answer for Jacksonville in Week 9. The Colts trailed 35-0 six minutes into the third quarter and lost 42-7 as 10-point road 'dogs. Indy is on a four-game SU slide (1-3 ATS).

Cowboys-Colts opened at Dallas -5.5 in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 9. The Cowboys advanced to -6 after a couple hours Sunday night. In that same timeframe, the total dipped from 52.5 to 52.

Houston Texans vs. Los Angeles Chargers Odds

  • Opening point spread: Texans -3.5
  • Opening moneyline: Texans -180/Chargers +150
  • Opening total: Over/Under 42 points scored
  • Time: 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Los Angeles (0-7 SU/0-6-1 ATS) was right with the Rams at halftime, trailing 10-9 after connecting on three field goals. But the Chargers didn't score again, losing 24-9 as 6.5-point "road" underdogs in the all-L.A. clash.

Houston (2-5 SU and ATS) is coming off a bye after falling far short of expectations through seven weeks. The Texans dropped their first four games, then seemed to rebound with two straight wins.

However, in Week 7, Houston was a 10-point home favorite and tumbled to the Giants 27-21 in overtime.

The Texans-Chargers line was on the move early in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 9. Houston opened -3.5 Sunday night and within two hours climbed to -4/-4.5/-5. The total nudged from 42 to 41.5.

Green Bay Packers vs. New England Patriots Odds

  • Opening point spread: Patriots -2.5
  • Opening moneyline: Patriots -140/Packers +115
  • Opening total: Over/Under 47.5 points scored
  • Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Green Bay (5-3 SU and ATS) is on upswings of 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS. In Week 8, the Packers were 3.5-point home favorites and topped Carolina 27-19.

New England (5-3 SU/4-4 ATS) found itself in surprising 13-3 halftime hole at Miami in Week 8. But the Patriots put up the next 21 points and held on for a 24-19 victory, while failing to cash as 7-point favorites.

The Pats are on a four-game SU upswing, but haven't covered in their last three outings.

New England opened -2.5 in Borgata Sports' NFL Week 9 odds.

"Depending on the injury report, I’m not sure you are going to see the line get to 3 on this game," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "So if you want Green Bay, this may be the best number you get.

"The Packers will have the rest advantage coming in and could end up being a popular 'dog in this spot."

Las Vegas Raiders vs. San Francisco 49ers Odds

  • Opening point spread: 49ers -8.5
  • Opening moneyline: 49ers -500/Raiders +300
  • Opening total: Over/Under 51 points scored
  • Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: San Francisco (6-1 SU/4-3 ATS) got a much-needed bye in Week 8, allowing time to recover from injuries. Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) and Mike Evans (Achilles) are expected to play in Week 9. Deebo Samuel (hamstring) might return after a two-game absence.

In Week 7, the Niners took their first loss of the season, 29-20 laying 2.5 points at Atlanta.

Las Vegas (4-4 SU/6-2 ATS) halted a three-game skid with a strong second-half rally vs. the Jets. The Raiders trailed 23-14 at halftime and 30-21 midway through the third quarter. But Vegas scored 17 of the final 20 points to win 38-33 catching 1.5 points on the road.

San Fran opened -8.5 vs. Las Vegas in BetMGM's NFL Week 9 odds. Within 90 minutes Sunday night, the Niners stretched to -10 (-105), before settling at -9.5. The total crept from 51 to 51.5.

  • Opening moneyline: Seahawks -700/Cardinals +550
  • Opening total: Over/Under 45 points scored
  • Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Seattle (4-3 SU/2-4-1 ATS) still has Week 8 work to finish off. The Seahawks host the Bears in the Monday night game.

Arizona (3-5 SU/4-4 ATS) notched its second upset in three weeks and third of the season. In Week 9, the Cards were 7.5-point 'dogs at Dallas and fell behind 24-10 in the first minute of the fourth quarter.

But Arizona rallied to tie it at 30 and force overtime, then won 33-30 on Chad Ryland's 42-yard field goal.

Cards-Seahawks opened at Seattle -11 in BetMGM's Week 9 NFL odds, with no movement Sunday night.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Chicago Bears Odds

  • Opening point spread: Bears -6
  • Opening moneyline: Bears -275/Buccaneers +225
  • Opening total: Over/Under 47 points scored
  • Time: 8:20 p.m. ET Sunday (NBC)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Chicago (5-2 SU and ATS) is on a 4-1 SU and ATS run. But the Bears haven't yet completed their Week 8 assignment, traveling to Seattle for the Monday night game.

Tampa Bay (3-5 SU and ATS) has its first two-game win streak of the season and is 3-1 SU and ATS in its last four outings. In Week 9, offense was at a premium in the rain, and the Bucs shut out Atlanta 16-0 as 2.5-point home favorites.

Baker Mayfield didn't complete a single pass in the game, going 0-for-3. But Bucky Irving had 20 carries for 170 yards and a touchdown.

The Bears opened -6 vs. the Bucs in Borgata Sports' NFL Week 9 odds, with no movement Sunday night.

"Baker Mayfield may need to complete a pass in this one, unlike how Tampa was able to win an NFL game in 2026 against Atlanta," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "It's a short week for the Bears, coming off of a Monday night game vs. the defending Super Bowl champions.

"We will see how the Bears come out of that game and if there is any adjustment needed to the number."

Buffalo Bills vs. Minnesota Vikings Odds

  • Opening point spread: Bills -3
  • Opening moneyline: Bills -150/Vikings +125
  • Opening total: Over/Under 46.5 points scored
  • Time: 8:15 p.m. ET Monday (ESPN/ABC)

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Minnesota (6-1 SU/5-2 ATS) became the last team to fall from the unbeaten ranks. The Vikings were 3.5-point road underdogs vs. Detroit and gave up a TD with 4:35 remaining in a 19-15 loss.

Buffalo (6-1 SU/5-2 ATS) got a big break in Week 9 when Baltimore QB Lamar Jackson exited after just one play with a thumb injury. The Bills, already up 7-0 at that point, rolled to a 36-10 victory laying 3 points at home.

Borgata Sports opened Bills-Vikes at Buffalo -3 in Week 9 NFL odds.

"I think the Bills will be a public side here," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "A little bit of money has come in on the Under at the opening number of 46.5. We're now down to 46."
