After finishing third in the NFC West with a record of 8-8 SU last year, Arizona posted a surprisingly excellent start to this season, as the Cardinals opened with an impressive 8-1 SU and 7-2 ATS run – while averaging a lofty 30.8 PPG on 398.4 YPG across that span.

The Cardinals have looked like a shell of that squad since their opening stretch though, considering Arizona is just 3-4 SU and ATS across the last seven games – despite getting tagged as favorites in five of those matchups.

On the other hand, Seattle stumbled out to an incredibly frustrating start to the year, as the Seahawks kicked things off with a lackluster 3-8 SU and 5-6 ATS skid – with four of those SU losses coming in matchups they were favored in.

The Seahawks have somewhat turned things around down the stretch though, considering Seattle sits at 3-2 SU and ATS across the last five games – while averaging 29.6 PPG offensively and surrendering 22 PPG defensively during that timeframe.

I’ll take the under here, as we should see a relatively low-scoring battle between a Cardinals offense that’s averaging just 19 PPG across their current 1-3 SU skid – and a Seahawks unit that has scored 15 PTS or less in four of the last eight games (22 PPG).

The Cardinals enter Sunday’s contest as seven-point home favorites over the visiting Seahawks, which marks the third time Seattle has been an underdog of six points or more this season.

The total for Sunday’s affair is stationed near OU 48 at most shops – marking the highest bar set for a Seahawks’ game since visiting the Packers in Week 10.

The Seahawks’ offense has played much better across the last five games though, yet still remains incredibly inconsistent, considering Seattle racked up 38 PPG across a trio of victories over the Lions, Texans, and Niners – and averaged just 17 PPG during a pair of losses to the Bears and Rams.

Since that point, it’s been steep downhill sledding for Arizona too, considering the Cardinals sit at 4-5 SU and ATS across their last nine games – while averaging just 20.7 PPG offensively and surrendering 23.8 PPG defensively during that timeframe.
