After finishing last in the NFC West with a record of 6-10 SU last year, San Francisco kept that same ball rolling with another slow start to this season, as the Niners opened with a lackluster 3-5 SU and 2-6 ATS skid – with their SU victories coming against a relatively unimpressive group of opponents in the Lions, Bears, and Eagles.

San Francisco has completely flipped the script since Week 9 though, considering the Niners enter the Divisional Round riding an impressive 8-2 SU stretch, with six of those SU victories coming by six points or more – which includes a 23-17 win over Dallas in the Wild Card Round.

On the other hand, Green Bay posted an excellent start to the season, as the Packers kicked things off with a sturdy 8-2 SU run – despite averaging just 21.6 PPG on 339 YPG offensively during that timeframe.

Green Bay’s offense really cranked up the heat down the homestretch though, considering the Packers posted wins in five-of-seven games to close out the regular season – highlighted by Aaron Rodgers and company racking up 33.4 PPG on 403 YPG across that window.

I’ll lay the points with Green Bay here, as the Packers’ offense was phenomenal in the waning days of the regular season, having scored 30+ PTS in six of their last seven games (33.4 PPG) – likely presenting a steep uphill battle for a Niners squad that’s scored 23 PTS or less in three of their last four events (22.5 PPG).

The Packers enter the Divisional Round favored by roughly six points over the visiting Niners – marking the third straight games San Francisco has been an underdog in.

The total for Saturday’s affair is stationed at OU 47.5 at most shops, which marks the highest over-under set for a Packers’ game since hosting the Seahawks back in Week 10 (U 48).

San Francisco probably won’t get away with riding the coattail of its defense to a victory in Saturday’s matchup though, considering the Packers have scored 30+ PTS in six of their last seven games (33.4 PPG) – which is a number the Niners have eclipsed just once across that same timeframe (24.2 PPG).

Green Bay’s offense single-handedly carried them through the back-half of the season though, considering the Packers enter the Divisional Round sitting at 6-2 SU across their last eight games – while racking up 31.3 PPG offensively and surrendering 23.8 PPG defensively during that timeframe.
