Copenhagen vs. Manchester City

Date: Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022
Time: 12:45 p.m. ET
Venue: Telia Parken
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

Best Bet: BTS - Yes (+115)

Manchester City had no problem beating F.C. Copenhagen 5-0 last week, with Erling Haaland scoring twice from just 11 touches in the first 45 minutes. Copenhagen had suffered from a few injuries, and are expected to be more competitive at home this Tuesday.

Now, logic assumes City will still win this fixture – and the domestic battle Copenhagen have to reclaim top spot in Denmark means this is not a priority game. Even so, the Lions generally fare well at home in Europe, and can be relied upon to scare City here.

Make no mistake, even if City don’t start Haaland they are near-dead certs to win here. But Copenahgen are good to score – and the odds on both teams finding the net are worth considering.

AC Milan vs. Chelsea

Date: Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022
Time: 3:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Giuseppe Meazza
Location: Milano, Italy

Best Bet: Chelsea ML (+113)

Chelsea stuffed Milan 3-0 last week and really didn’t look in trouble at any stage in the game. The goals flowed easily, and Milan were restricted to just one shot on target all evening. Fast forward six days and, even with Milan at home, it’s hard to see anything but a Blues victory here.

And the soccer betting sites are offering a great price on Graham Potter’s men doing the business. Fresh off beating Wolves 3-0 on Saturday, Chelsea are now getting into their groove and they’re perhaps a good shout to keep a clean sheet too.

Milan, by contrast, have just had to battle through 90 minutes with Juventus and still have a good chance of progressing out of Group E in the Champions League, even if they lose here.

Celtic vs. RB Leipzig

Date: Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022
Time: 3:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Celtic Park
Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Best Bet: RB Leipzig Over 2.5 (+800)

This Champions League campaign really hasn’t gone well for Celtic. Having started with so much confidence, defeats to Real Madrid and Leipzig and a frustrating draw against Shakhtar is all they can boast from three games.

Last week the Scottish champions were rumbled by a clinical Leipzig side that grew to dominate the fixture. And on Tuesday the Germans could well stick three past Celtic again.

Yes, we should see far more attacking intent from the Scots at Celtic Park. This stadium is a cauldron of noise but Real Madrid successfully muffled it, and Leipzig will hope to do the same. The Germans were frustrated to a 1-1 tie with Mainz at the weekend, but expect to see a sharper team out there in Glasgow come Tuesday.

Atletico vs. Club Brugge

Date: Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022
Time: 12:45 p.m. ET
Venue: Civitas Metropolitano
Location: Madrid, Spain

Best Bet: 2H BTS - Yes (+280)

We’ll hold our hands up. Last week we say Club Brugge would see their stellar Champions League form come to an end, and fail to beat the much more dominant Atletico Madrid. The result? Club Brugge crushed the Spaniards 2-0 and totally outplayed Diego Simeone’s team.

So, do we bet against Club Brugge again this week? No! They have been the surprise team of the Champions League this season and boast a remarkable nine points from three group games so far.

Atletico, meanwhile, scraped to a win over Girona on Saturday and just couldn’t get a breakthrough against Club Brugge. On Wednesday night we can expect Atletico to command possession and lay siege on Brugge’s area. Yes, Atletico should win this game, but both teams will have their chances to score in the second half.

Barcelona vs. Inter

Date: Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022
Time: 3:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Spotify Camp Nou
Location: Barcelona, Spain

Best Bet: Barca ML & BTS - Yes (+160)

This is by no means a home banker but Barcelona are a great bet to beat Inter at their current odds. The Spanish giants have hit their stride this fall and come into Wednesday's game having hosted Celta Vigo at home. The likes of Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha should be fresh for this one.

Inter beat Barcelona last week but it was a tight contest. Despite playing at home, they had just 28% possession and managed as many shots on target (2) as their opponents. On another night Barca would have won it – and manager Xavi will expect that “other night” to be this Wednesday.

A smart side bet here could be on both teams to score. While Barcelona are looking close to back to their attacking best, they’re still not fully secure at the back. And with Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko in the team, they can cover for the injured Joaquin Correa. But even so, Barca should win.

Rangers vs. Liverpool

Date: Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022
Time: 3:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Ibrox Stadium
Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Best Bet: Rangers First to Score (+240)

Rangers soaked up a lot of pressure against Liverpool a week ago and only lost 2-0 at Anfield as a result. And while most soccer betting fans will be backing a Reds win here, there’s no harm in a small punt on Gers upsetting things at the start of the game.

Rangers will hope to hit Liverpool from the off and they’ll have the backing of a raucous Ibrox crowd behind them. So don’t be surprised if the hosts take the lead and give Jurgen Klopp a conundrum to solve.

Now, the Scottish club are perhaps priced a little too long to win this game at +700. But considering Liverpool’s recent defensive woes, there is a very real chance both teams score in Glasgow. And the smart bet is to back an early opener for the hosts.
