What’s Going On?

Monday there’s an AL East battle when the Yankees host Tampa Bay. If the season ended today these would both be playoff teams. Quality games require superior sportsbooks and the special deal from BetMGM fits that description.

When you open a new BetMGM account using the VIBONUS bonus code you’re getting a $1,000 Risk-Free Bet. That means you can lose your bet but get your money back in Free Bets. Try that with your local bookie that’s still meeting players at the local bar to collect.

Why Should You Care?

New York has been one of the hottest teams in baseball this season and you need to take advantage of it every time you have a chance to watch Aaron Judge. This Tampa Bay Rays team is the same club that won this division the last two years. It doesn’t look like that’ll happen this season but once you make the playoffs anything is possible. That means every single game in this series is crucial to both clubs.

The Yankees are favored at home in this one and it’s a big number of -235. You can get better odds on the run line at -115. Tampa Bay is +215 and with the 1 ½ runs it’s -105. Tonight’s total is 7 ½ and you’ll lay even money on the over and -120 for under that number.

Is That Rays Run Of Consecutive Division Titles Ending?

Tampa Bay has won this division two years in a row but they’re 11 games back and grabbing one of the wild card spots seems more realistic. Right now, they’re holding on to the last playoff spot but there are five other teams in the mix for those two entries. They’re 6-5 in August but did take two out of three from Baltimore this weekend and lead them by 1 ½ in the standings. The highlight of that series was Drew Rasmussen losing his perfect game bid in the ninth on Sunday.

Jalen Beeks will be on the mound for the visitors making his seventh start and is 2-1 with an ERA of 2.35 and a WHIP of 1.20. Most of his appearances have been as part of a bullpen game for the Rays and he’s been seen in 29 games with 46 innings pitched. Two of those starts were against New York where he went 2 perfect innings at Yankee Stadium and only lasted 1.2 giving up 2 earned runs in Tampa.

Will The Yankees Find A Way To Blow Their Ten Game AL East Lead?

Heading into the All-Star break on fire lead some fans to call this team the best in New York’s storied history. Then, August showed up and they’re 3-9 in the month and not scoring runs. Toronto has picked up 4 ½ games in the title race since the Fourth of July. In their last five on the road, they scored a total of eight runs. They’re 7-3 against the Rays this year but on their last home stand at the end of July, they were 4-3 but scored six runs or more in five of those seven.

Gerrit Cole gets the start for the home team and the question is which Cole shows up. He’s 9-4 with an ERA of 3.38, 1.02 WHIP and in his last outing went 7 innings allowing just four hits without allowing a base on balls or any earned runs. In the four appearances before that, he went 25 innings, gave up 27 hits, 3 walks, and allowed 16 earned with 5 homers.

You Couldn’t Have A Better Game To Use That Risk-FREE BetMGM Wager!

Until the Yankees start hitting again, taking them at -200 and numbers even larger than that seems a risk. Of course, when you open your new BetMGM account with bonus code VIBONUS you’re getting a Risk-FREE wager of up to $1,000.

The Bronx Bombers have had a winning streak of more than three games since June. Use your BetMGM risk-free play on the Under. Let’s assume the Rays bullpen is rested after that almost perfecto on Sunday and hopefully, this series won’t be the one where the Yankees’ run-scoring production explodes.
