UPDATE 1:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Less than two hours before game time, Purdue is giving 7.5 points on PointsBetUSA"s Big Ten Tournament odds board. The Boilermakers opened -6.5 late Saturday night and shortly thereafter dipped to -6. But the line began trending up early this morning, reaching -7.5 just before noon ET.

That said, spread betting is hardly overwhelming on Purdue, which is netting 56% of tickets/64% of money. However, on the moneyline, it's practically all Purdue tickets and money, even with the Boilermakers at -350.

The total opened at 135.5, fell to 134.5 this morning and is now at 133.5. Still, more than 60% of bets and more than 70% of dollars are on the Over.

UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Penn State is the surprise guest at the Big Ten Tournament betting party. In Saturday's semis, the Nittany Lions had a 71-57 lead with two minutes left, then hung on for a 77-73 win over third-seeded Indiana.

Penn State (22-12 SU, 19-13-2 ATS) cashed as a 4-point underdog and has won and covered all three of its matchups on the Big Ten Tournament odds board. In fact, the Nittany Lions have won five straight (4-1 ATS) as part of an 8-1 overall SU run.

Meanwhile, Purdue found itself down 29-21 midway through the first half against plucky No. 13 seed Ohio State, playing its fourth game in four days. But the Boilermakers got it together from there and ultimately coasted to an 80-66 victory laying 7.5 points.

Prior to cashing against Ohio State, Purdue (28-5 SU, 13-18-2 ATS) had dropped four straight ATS as part of a 1-6 overall spread-covering skid.

Caesars Sports opened Purdue as a 6-point chalk this evening, and the line quickly moved out to -6.5. It's since returned to the Boilermakers -6 opener. The total opened at 136 and also saw a speedy shift, dropping to 134.5. But it's since rebounded to 135.5. Check back through Sunday's tipoff for updates on odds, action and betting splits.

The Boilermakers and Nittany Lions met twice in the regular season, with Purdue posting a pair of double-digit wins in going 2-0 SU and ATS.
