OPENING ODDS UPDATE: After a slow start Saturday night, No. 3 Illinois (28-8 SU/20-16 ATS) ultimately got into a back-and-forth battle with upstart No. 9 seed Iowa. But the Fighting Illini pulled away late vs. their Big Ten rival, claiming a 71-59 victory as 6.5-point favorites.

With 7:27 remaining, the game was tied at 50. But the Illini finished with a 21-9 run in the South Region final. Illinois is 4-0 SU and ATS in the NCAA Tourney.
