GAME DAY UPDATE: With 70 minutes until kickoff, Texas A&M is -2.5 (-115) in BetMGM's Week 9 college football odds. In fact, the Aggies have been at some iteration of -2.5 much of the week, though they spent time at -3, as well.

"It looks like we're gonna need A&M. There's plenty of action on LSU -3. Any action on A&M has been at -2.5 and on the moneyline," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said, noting action at 2.5 is pretty balanced.

"With the amount of LSU moneyline action, A&M -3 is the side we'd like to see."

The total is at 49.5 (Under -115), up a point from the 48.5 opener and 2 points from Monday's low of 47.5.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: The visiting Aggies are painted to -2.5 in DraftKings Sportsbook's college football odds Week 9 market. Texas A&M opened -2.5 (-115), went to -2.5 flat for a few hours early Thursday, then returned to -2.5 (-115), where the line rests at 2:30 p.m. ET Friday.

Spread tickets are running 3/1-plus and spread money just shy of 2/1 on the Aggies.

DK's total is at 49.5 (Under -112), just a touch off Sunday's 49.5 (Under -115) opener, after getting as low as 47.5 (Over -115) Monday. Ticket count is 4/1 and money almost 6/1 on the Over.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Texas A&M opened as 2.5-point road chalk in Borgata Sports' college football Week 9 odds. That number is unchanged as of Tuesday afternoon.

"Rumors continue to swirl around the future of Brian Kelly at LSU, after its loss to Vanderbilt on Saturday," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "And things don’t get any easier for Kelly and the Tigers this weekend.

"There hasn’t been any change to the spread, but the total has dropped to 47.5."

That's down a point from the 48.5 opener.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 3 Texas A&M (7-0 SU/3-4 ATS) barely hung on to its unblemished record in a shootout at Arkansas. The Aggies built double-digit leads multiple times but ultimately eked out a 45-42 victory giving 7.5 points.

No. 20 LSU (5-2 SU/3-4 ATS) saw its climb to the SEC title game and/or the College Football Playoff get much harder in Week 8. The Tigers fell short to Vanderbilt 31-24 catching 1.5 points on the road.

Texas A&M opened as 1-point road chalk in Circa Sports' college football odds Week 9 market. In short order, by 2 p.m. ET Sunday, the Aggies moved out to -2.5. The total nudged from 49.5 to 49.

GAME DAY UPDATE: With kickoff an hour out, BetMGM has Vanderbilt -3 (-115) in college football Week 9 odds. The Commodores toggled between -2.5/-3 a few times this week, most recently Friday afternoon.

Vanderbilt is the most popular team today at BetMGM, taking more spread tickets and more spread money than any other team.

"It's heavy action on Vandy -2.5 and -3. We'll be rooting for Mizzou outright in this one," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.

The total is at 52.5, having just dropped down from 53.5. BetMGM opened at 52.5, went to 51.5 (Over -115) Wednesday, then spent most of the past two days at 52.5. Magee said there's not much of a decision to the total.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: Vandy has been pinned to -2.5 all week at ESPNBET, save for a couple short stints at -3.5 (-105) on Sunday. The Commodores are -2.5 (-120) as of 3 p.m. ET Thursday.

Accounting for all bet types (straight/parlay etc.), spread tickets are running 2.5/1 and spread money 2/1 on Vanderbilt.

ESPNBET's total is at 52.5 flat, after opening at 52.5 (Under -120) and toggling between 52.5/51.5 a few times this week. Ticket count is 3/1-plus on the Over, while money is closer to even, again accounting for all bet types.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Vanderbilt has already inched out to a field-goal favorite in Borgata Sports' college football odds Week 9 market.

"We opened the Commodores as 2.5-point home favorites and were quickly bet up to -3," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said Monday night. "Vanderbilt is off a big win against LSU, but they continue the tough SEC grind with this matchup against Missouri.

"I haven’t seen a Vanderbilt football team playing at this level in my lifetime. Vandy is now squarely in the College Football Playoff conversation."

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 10 Vanderbilt (6-1 SU/5-2 ATS) kept its name firmly in the College Football Playoff conversation in Week 8. The Commodores were 1.5-point home favorites vs. LSU and won 31-24, behind Heisman candidate QB Diego Pavia.

No. 15 Missouri (6-1 SU/5-2 ATS) barely got out of Auburn with a victory. The Tigers closed as 1.5-point favorites and were stretched to double overtime, winning 23-17 on quarterback Beau Pribula's 3-yard touchdown run.

Circa Sports opened Vandy -3 in its Week 9 college football odds. There was a brief dip to Commodores -2.5, then the line returned to -3 just before 2 p.m. ET Sunday.

GAME DAY UPDATE: Twenty minutes pre-kick, Oklahoma is -5.5 (-105) in BetMGM's college football odds Week 9 market. The Sooners opened -4.5 flat, got to -5.5 (-105) Tuesday, dipped to -4.5 (-120) Thursday night and hit -5.5 (-105) again Friday morning.

The line fell to -4.5 (-115) this morning, before again rebounding to -5.5 (-105). Underdog Ole Miss is drawing 62% of spread bets/66% of spread money. And the Rebels are more popular on the moneyline, taking 81% of bets/79% of cash to pull a road upset.

"Sharps have been all over Oklahoma today. But it looks like we're gonna need OU to cover -5.5. A couple big [Ole Miss] spread bets came in, along with some public interest on the Ole Miss moneyline," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.

"Over 52.5 actually isn't bad either."

BetMGM's total is at 52.5, after opening 51.5, peaking at 54.5 Monday, then going to 53.5/52.5 Thursday. The Over is seeing 53% of bets, while 61% of cash is on the Under.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: After opening at -4, Oklahoma has spent the week toggling between -4.5/-5.5 in DraftKings' college football Week 9 odds. As of 2 p.m. ET Friday, the Sooners are 5.5-point home favorites.

Underdog Ole Miss is actually getting 74% of early spread bets and 57% of early spread money. Further, early moneyline play is leaning into the road Rebels, at 69% of bets/80% of money.

DK's total is at 52.5, up from Sunday's 51.5 opener, but down from multiple stints at 54.5 earlier in the week. The Over is seeing 57% of bets, while 53% of money is on the Under.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Oklahoma opened as 4.5-point home chalk in Borgata Sports' college football odds Week 9 market. On Tuesday, the Sooners are up to -5.5.

"Ole Miss just suffered its first loss and now has to travel to Oklahoma, which got back on track with a blowout win against South Carolina," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The Sooners' offensive and defensive lines dominated in that game.

"But it will be a much stiffer test here against Ole Miss."

The total is a notable early mover, shooting from 51.5 to 54.5.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 8 Ole Miss (6-1 SU/4-3 ATS) was primed to remain unbeaten, holding a 35-26 lead over Georgia late in the third quarter. But the Rebels gave up the final 17 points of the game and lost 43-35 as 7.5-point road underdogs.

No. 13 Oklahoma (6-1 SU/4-3 ATS) bounced back just fine from its Week 7 loss vs. Texas. The Sooners dumped South Carolina 26-7 laying 4.5 points on the road.

Circa Sports opened Ole Miss-Oklahoma at Sooners -4 and quickly went to -5. Thirty minutes later, around 2:15 p.m. ET Sunday, the line settled at -4.5. The total was also on the move early, falling from 53.5 to 51.

GAME DAY UPDATE: Indiana is out to -27.5 (-105) in BetMGM's Week 9 college football odds, 15 minutes before kickoff. On Sunday, the Hoosiers opened -24.5, and they advanced to -25.5 Tuesday/-26.5 Friday.

"We're starting to see some Indiana money come in, after seeing plenty of UCLA backers all week. Not much of a need in this game. We'd probably like to see UCLA cover +26.5, after the volume of Indiana money we've had today," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.

The total is at 53.5 (Under -115), with the number at some iteration of 53.5 since Thursday, after opening at 54.5. The Over is taking 82% of bets/80% of money.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: Less than 48 hours before kickoff, Indiana is out to a 26.5-point home favorite in ESPNBET's college football odds Week 9 market. The Hoosiers opened -24.5 and actually backed up to -23.5 briefly on Sunday evening and again on Monday.

But the line went to Indiana -25.5 Tuesday, then early Thursday afternoon to -26.5 (-105), where it remains at 3 p.m. ET Thursday. Accounting for all bet types (straight/parlay etc.), it's two-way spread play, with 58% of tickets on UCLA/57% of money on Indiana.

Moneyline action is much heavier to Indiana, but surely that's almost entirely tied up in moneyline parlays, with the Hoosiers a massive -5000.

ESPNBET's total is at 53.5 (Under -115), up from the 52.5 but down from the 55.5 (Under -115) peak Wednesday morning. The Over is seeing 78% of tickets, while 76% of money is on the Under, again accounting for all bet types.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Borgata Sports opened Indiana -24.5 in college football Week 9 odds and was up to -25.5 by Tuesday.

"Indiana has now moved up to No. 2 in the AP poll after its win against Michigan State," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "UCLA is on a three-game win streak under interim head coach Tim Skipper. It’s a big number to lay, and we haven’t seen a lot of action on this game yet."

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Indiana (7-0 SU/4-3 ATS) had no letdown after its huge Week 7 win at Oregon. In Week 8, the Hoosiers put up 28 points in the middle two quarters (14 in each) and rolled over Michigan State 38-13, just short of cashing as 26.5-point home chalk.

UCLA (3-4 SU and ATS) wouldn't normal merit mention in this space, with a sub-.500 record. But in Week 6, the Bruins played world beater and shocked Penn State 42-37 as a massive 24-point home underdog, beginning the demise of James Franklin and the Nittany Lions.

Now, UCLA is on a three-game win streak. In Week 8, the Bruins edged Maryland 20-17 on a final-seconds field goal, though they failed to cash as 4-point home favorites.

Still, No. 2 Indiana opened as a hefty 21-point home favorite in Circa Sports' college football Week 9 odds. Circa is widely respected for its opening numbers, which tend to draw sharp action in a hurry.

That was the case here, as that line quickly shot to Hoosiers -24.5 by 1:40 p.m. ET Sunday.

GAME DAY UPDATE: BetMGM has South Florida at -3.5 (-105), with 15 minutes until kickoff. The Bulls opened -3.5 Sunday, went straight to -5 Monday and peaked at -6 Thursday afternoon. This morning, the line backed up to USF -5.5/-4.5/-3.5.

South Florida is landing 60% of spread tickets/69% of spread money.

"Memphis has been bet a bunch today, moving this [as low as] USF -3. Not the biggest handle on this game, and money has been pretty balanced all week. No need," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.

BetMGM's total is at 59.5 (Under -115), well off the 65.5 opener, but a point above Thursday's 58.5 low point. The big drop is due in part to Memphis QB Brendon Lewis (lower-body injury) being questionable to play.

The Over is getting 65% of tickets/72% of money.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: At 1:30 p.m. ET Friday, South Florida hit its high point so far, going from -5.5 to -6 in DraftKings' Week 9 college football odds. The Bulls opened -3.5, got to -4.5 Monday, -5.5 Wednesday and hit -6 for the first time for several hours Thursday.

Part of what's at play: Memphis QB Brendon Lewis might be out with a lower-body injury. South Florida is netting 66% of early spread bets/62% of early spread dollars.

While the point spread climbs, the total has plunged to 58.5 from a 66.5 opener. The Under is drawing 53% of bets/60% of money.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: As of Tuesday morning, South Florida is already out to -5.5 in Borgata Sports' Week 9 college football odds. The Bulls opened Sunday as 3.5-point road favorites.

"South Florida has an offense that has been putting up a lot of points, with dual-threat quarterback Byrum Brown leading the way," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "Memphis has at times struggled to contain mobile quarterbacks and is coming off a loss to UAB.

"It’s been all recreational money thus far on the home dog, with respected money coming in on the favorite."

The total is down to 63.5 from a 65.5 opener.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 18 South Florida (6-1 SU and ATS) is the highest-ranked Group of 6 team, meaning its on track for a CFP bid – if it wins the American Athletic Conference. In Week 8, the Bulls hammered Florida Atlantic 48-13 as 20.5-point home favorites

Memphis (6-1 SU) will still have something to say about the AAC title, though it stubbed its toe big-time in Week 8. The Tigers were 23.5-point favorites at UAB and shockingly fell outright 31-24, to a team that fired coach Trent Dilfer last Sunday.

That loss took some luster off what was supposed to be a Week 9 showdown between the AAC's two best teams. South Florida opened as 3-point road chalk in Circa Sports' college football odds Week 9 market.

The first move was to USF -2.5, but the line quickly rebounded to -3, then went to -3.5 by 2:25 p.m. ET Sunday.
